This product is great for a beginner trying to start lifting without making a significant investment. As others have pointer out, the weights are plastic shells filled with sand. The seal isn’t good, so sand does spill out. I put some gaffers tape over the openings to solve that problem. The parts had some greasy coating which washed off with some dish soap. The value proposition is that this is much much cheaper than competing products, and I was able to work around the problems associated with cheapness. Update: I am so grateful for this product which got me started down the right path to strength and health. I purchased this just over two years ago and started exercising just a few minutes each day. I immediately saw progress in the weight/reps/sets I could do for each exercise, doing a little more each week. This motivated me to keep progressing. After a year, I purchased a higher-capacity adjustable dumbbell since I maxed out the weight on this one. A few months ago, I got a bench, a barbell, and a set of weights to go further. I now have spreadsheets to track my progress and workout schedule and I spend ~2 hours each week lifting. This product allowed me to get started and realize how rewarding exercising can be. Everyone has different exercises they enjoy, so I recommend this as a cheap way to get started lifting to determine if it’s right for you.

I have used these weights since 2023 and they have held up great. They have no smell to them like some weights can. They are black so always in style. Absolutely love them as they do not hurt your hands. Very durable.

I have only had the product for about a week now, but seems to be good quality and the adjustments on the side seem to hold a lot better than the other weights I have. For the money it’s a good product.

UPDATE: these are now leaking sand or whatever substance is inside of them after a year of use. We don't drop them or throw them around either as we live above people. This is annoying as they are now gradually losing weight, not sure how to fix the issue. These are great! The only thing is the bolt that holds the weights in place gets loose pretty easily.

These arrived on time but one of the 1.5 lb weights was cracked open and leaking the contents when it arrived. Hoping to get a replacement weight without having to return the entire package.

During my last move I did a stupid thing -- I got rid of my collection of weight plates. I foolishly thought i could easily replace them. HAH! This set has the traditional 2-1/2 & 5 lb. plates along with 1-1/2 lb. plates. The spin-lock handles are easy to adjust. The handles are a bit longer than anticipated.

Cheap quality it's plastic and the spinlocks gets loose very fast even after you tighten it and just pick it up the first time or two it becomes loose again it's very frustrating when you're in the middle of a exercise and the grip hurts and its very uncomfortable it's bad quality and I'm not exaggerating

Got them for my mom for christmas. she loves them! she likes that they are interchangeable and easy to change out.

C'è stato un problema durante la prima consegna (mancavano un manubrio e due pesi), quindi ho subito chiesto il reso e la sostituzione gratuita. Arrivato il nuovo pacco era tutto ok. I manubri e i pesi sembrano ben fatti (li ho già utilizzati 5 volte) e il rapporto qualità/prezzo risulta quindi ottimo. Vedremo la durata nel tempo.
