This is a fantastic little sewing kit, there are plenty of needles which have big enough eyes to be able to thread easily, the needles feel quite strong, I tried sewing through denim and didn't have any problems. The scissors are sharp as is the un-picker. There are a variety of coloured thread and to be honest I probably won't use most of them there than the black, white and grey but they're still handy to have. The thread feels strong enough when sewing. The case is well organised. I would recommend as a staple for anyone's 'odds and ends' drawer.

A big review for a tiny price product. Great little kit for emergency uses. Quality is what you might expect for £4, with the amount of stuff included. Everything is the kind of thing you might expect to get inside a Christmas cracker, but you would have to pull a LOT of crackers to get all of this. Heck, I paid £1 a few weeks ago just for a seam ripper which was no better or worse than the one included in this. The little scissors are basically (cheap) curved nail scissors, but they do cut, for now. The thread seems okay for a quick fix but you probably wouldn't use for making something from scratch as it doesn't feel very robust. The colours are varied but I was hoping for a more useful ivory colour but can easily swap one of the jazzier colours for something else. I've never seen a thimble like this! It's not like the (traditional) one in their photos - just a cheap ring of dimpled metal. Maybe it is more useful. Not sure yet. Lastly, the needles actually seem okay and come in a nice safe dispenser/container For me this is a neat little kit to tuck away in my bag in case of any wardrobe emergencies on photoshoots, and it fits the bill perfectly. For someone using it a lot, you may end up replacing a lot of it soon with something better, but at least you have a nice storage case for it.

Lovely set, a bargain at the price.

Fantastic little set but loads of equipment inside. Great selection of colours so perfect for any items that needs repairing. Plenty of needles in various sizes. Folds away & zips shut so doesn’t take much space up in the drawer.

You get what you pay for!

There's not much to say about this sewing kit. I mean, if you cannot bear to keep searching for a needle here and a roll of cotton there and those scissors the kids keep losing, buy it and hide it! I had one small sewing job to do and none of my usual sewing essentials were present where I left them, so I put it off for weeks, thinking they'll turn up. In the end, I bought this sewing kit, received it the next day and job done. The only thing I would like to see in a kit like this is a small pin cushion built into the case, to poke the needle and pins into while you're working. Other than that, it's well worth the money, very useful and easy to store.
