Amazing for hEDS/connective tissue disorder
Ease of use: (looks complicated, but isnโt): 5/5 Support/stability: 5/5 Compression (custom): 5/5 Iโve tried basically all types of braces at this point with Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. I used to โliveโ in braces and compression socks (also have PoTS), but physical therapy and every-6-weeks shockwave therapy treatments have given me so much more time back on my feet and general, overall mobility. But, I also live in an incline-rich, hilly area that discourages vehicle drivers, so I find myself still injuring easily. I have chronic posterior tibial tendinitis, Achilles tendonitis, and (much better controlled because of the shockwave therapy treatments at my podiatristโs office) plantar fasciitis. As someone in the hEDS community stated, โitโs like our bodies are held together with chewing gum.โ Injury is easy to do and frequent. With all that context and background, this is the best brace Iโve tried. When wrapped well, it offers better stability and support than the metal-arm (PAINFUL!) braces Iโve used, and the customizable compression is perfection. It doesnโt slide even over an ankle-high sock (sensitive skin, too, but this hasnโt bother mine where itโs made contact), and itโs priced competitively well (at my times of purchase) for such a quality product. Iโm grateful. And so confident in the superior aid this has offered me that I just donated all my other braces today! Overall: 5/5

Comfortable and supportive
My previous figure-8 Velcro wrap started falling apart after just a month, so I decided to try this one for a sturdier option. Right from the first wear, I was impressed โ it provides great support while feeling so comfortable that I barely notice Iโm wearing it. Shipping was very fast, which was a nice bonus. Iโm already considering ordering a second one for my other arthritic ankle. I especially appreciate how adjustable it is โ you can customize both the level of support and exactly where the wrap sits. Thatโs been a big help for me, since Iโve had increased foot pain with compression socks.

Best with a tennis shoe for better support and stability
I strained the Achilles tendon at the calf and heel (from heel to ankle). I wore a brace and heel wedge from the doctor. The brace worked for the upper part of the Achilles and healed fine but it did not protect the heel very well. After the upper healed, I searched for a wrap to continue support until the heel..well...healed. :) I found this wrap would be customizable enough to wrap the heel and ankle for better support. It has worked well along with the wedge in the shoe. Without the wedge there is not enough support. The wrap is not enough support or stable enough on its own. You really need to wear a supportive shoe, like a tennis shoe with ankle support. I gave only two stars for comfort. On bare skin it caused big, itch welts that lasted for several days. I followed the instructions, including washing it before wear, but still had the welts. I now put on a sock and the wrap goes over the sock which helps. Otherwise, it is flexible and comfortable. The velcro is a bit difficult to remove but at least it holds well. This might only be for me since I am using it for the heel and ankle but if not wrapped secure it will slip around a bit. So, the difficult velcro is a trade off for it staying in place.

Great ankle support
These wraps are great. Much better than tape or brace.

Not enough support for what I needed.
I ordered both the ComfiLife ankle wrap and the RIKEEP and I tried the ComfiLife wrap for the first day on my twisted ankle, but I didn't like it. At first, when they arrived, I thought I had accidently bought 2 of the same one. They look exactly alike. They work the exact same way. They felt the same. Only the color was different. Given that, I don't know why, but the ComfiLife one did not support my ankle as well. I had to wrap it as tight as I could and it still felt the same. Also, it wasn't comfortable with my tennis shoes on. I tried it a couple of other times too, and I could never get it off. The velcro was stuck like glue! At least you know it's not going to come off. Anyhow, I think maybe the RIKEEP is a tad thicker material? Not sure why, but it was perfect for me. It gave my ankle the support it needed and it was comfortable. Maybe ComfiLife will be better for you, but I preferred the other one. I will keep both to have a spare on hand!

great for my posterior tibial tendon problems
I have partial posterior tibial tendon collapse (flat foot) on my left side and have a large ankle and calf, and regular braces don't fit properly, and "plus size" braces I found at a medical equipment store were clearly made for bigger people. This strap is the first thing I've found that gives me some support throughout the day and I love it. It's a long strap with velcro on one end, and you can wrap it around your bottom foot, then ankle, then again around the foot or higher on the ankle, your choice. I injured my left foot and ankle about 3 1/2 years ago and that lead to my posterior tibial tendon partially collapsing, plus some arthritis and rheumatoid nodules. Had physical therapy but it was suboptimal, as the only clinic in town focuses on sports medicine and the college athletes rather than everyday people. In the course of my therapy I was told that braces would not help. Earlier this year when I still couldn't walk much despite doing the exercises I was taught, I decided to investigate how to improve my PTTD, and the first thing I saw was that a well-known protocol said the first step was to wear a brace. As mentioned, I couldn't find a decent brace that fit right, but this strap (branded as a brace) was exactly what I needed. I can wrap it twice around the bottom of the foot to give me a little arch support, or twice around the ankle for tendon support. Currently I'm using an arch support pillow attached to my foot, with this strap around it holding it in place. The pain is much better, and with less stress on the tendon during the day, my physical therapy exercises seem to be doing more good than they were before. One thing that is kind of weird about the strap is there is a rubber traction side, but you can't wrap with that side on the outside because the velcro tab at the end doesn't face the right way. You could maybe tuck it underneath a strap to get some hold but I haven't been able to get that to work yet. Not sure why the rubber traction is on the "skin side" but it is. Also, this thing will rip up your socks and shoes eventually, it's pretty tough. I like wearing it on the foot with a sock over it, and that seems to be gentler on the sock than wearing it over a sock. It washes well, I use Woolite for darks in a sink and let it soak, then let it drip over a sink for a while, then hang it up and let it finish drying, which it does overnight. No dryer and I wouldn't put it in a washing machine either, but washing it really quick in the sink is easy enough. Definitely recommend this, especially if you've got large ankles or calves and have been having trouble finding something that will fit.

Ankle brace with adjustable good support
Although I must admit that I puzzled a bit as to how to properly put this brace on, when I got the hang of it, I found that it was a very good support that I could adjust the pressure to anything that I wanted.

Fantastic ankle brace
Have been using this brace for a couple of months now to help with Achilles tendonitis. I have found it to be very good quality and most importantly has given my ankle the extra support it needed.

2pk ankle bandage brace, feels sturdy and supportive - would recommend for those recovering from injury. 1 star deducted due to lack of instructional video.

Works great, hoever..comes with NO instructions
This brace is great, once you figure out how to make it work and stay on your ankle. IT COMES WITH NO INSTRUCTIONS!! Hence, I'm only giving it 4 stars. A simple paper with instructions would make it so much easier. It is comfortable and fits in my shoe. Definitely helped with keeping my ankle aligned and steady. Would recommend. Seller: put some instructions in the package!
