Good replacement. Chuck the plug wires
Bolted right up no adjustments necessary except the wiring of the plug was incorrect. Compared it to my original and it works great.

Carb worked great after fixing incorrect wiring issue
I installed this carburetor on my dad’s 85 pickup and after running for a minute or two the engine would start idling rough and begin dying. I tried adjusting the carb but it seemed like it was already close to specs from the factory. After scratching my head and doing some research, I found that these carburetors have an idle valve screwed in on the passenger side. So I figured I’d swap the idle valve from the old carb and that’s when I realized the round 4 pin connector on the new carburetor was pinned incorrectly, causing the idle valve to shut off after a minute. I relocated the pins to the proper positions by using the connector on the old carb as a reference and after that the truck ran smoothly. This might have been a one time defect but I figured I’d mention it here just in case anyone else is having the same issue.

Junk
Pure crap, float not set properly and rough idle

Cannon plug wired wrong from manufacturer.
WARNING!!!! Decent carb, works right out of the box… HOWEVER, according to a YouTuber, the cannon plug needs to be re-pinned. I installed as is, and truck would not idle… I moved the red wire over one slot (swapped side to side). To be clear 2 pins are vertical and 2 are horizontal. The red wire needs to switch places with the black wire (both horizontal). Trucks runs amazing now.

Works perfectly
Carburetor worked perfectly. Of course check wiring just like all other reviews say and of course it needed to be rearranged but once that was done and installed truck started right up. Works awesome and am able to drive truck again after it's been sitting for a couple years. Definitely recommend to anyone.

High idle at cold start
My truck is a 87 with a mechanical fuel pump. I would rate it higher if I could figure out the high idle at cold start. After a week of driving it and making adjustments to it, it seems to run fine when warmed up-just idles really high at cold start. I did have to re-pin the round plug. It seemed to be getting too much fuel-there’s a sight glass that shows the fuel level of the float and it was indicating about 3/4 full all of the time so I installed a fuel pressure regulator and dropped the PSI to 3.5. This seems to be the sweet spot for my truck and my location - elevation matters as I am only 20’ or so above sea level in CA. I believe my mechanical fuel pump was putting out 4psi of fuel. If anyone else has any info, please share, I can also share- I did have a buddy of mine who is a smog tech help me with the routing of the vacuum lines, also make sure you have the right spacer underneath the carburetor -correct spacer for my truck has a recessed diagram- previous owner didn’t have this spacer - it matters . Let me know if anyone else has this problem, I will update once I figure it out

Good Quality & EXCELLENT Value
Purchased this for my dads 1994 Toyota truck. CAUTION: Read the comments other people have written. Some of the wiring will be wrong on the carburetor side so just trace the pigtail from the engine side or the old carburetor and adjust accordingly on the carburetor. I had three wires in the wrong slots. Took me an extra 15 minutes to swap em around. The carburetor works flawless thus far. Didn't have to make any tuning adjustments whatsoever. EXCELLENT value for the $$$.
