Good product!
Small dog-small pill pockets. It doesn’t matter if it says for cats! My dog loves them and takes his pills easily with these

Easy to Use and Works Great, Just a Strong Smell
These Greenies pill pockets are really effective and a great value for the money. They’re soft, easy to work with, and make giving medication super simple. I just tuck the pill inside, pinch it closed, and my cat eats it without even noticing. The quality is great, and my cat definitely prefers these over any other method I’ve tried, which makes things so much easier. The only downside is the smell. It’s a bit unpleasant in my opinion, and it tends to linger on your hands after using them. It doesn’t bother my cat at all, but I do make sure to wash my hands right after, especially if I’m heading out the door. Overall, they work really well and make giving meds stress-free, just something to be aware of with the scent.

They actually work!
I realllllly thought these wouldn’t work but decided to give them a try any way because I was desperate. To my surprise they really work! I was trying to sneak my cat his pills with churu treats but he outsmarted me. Now, when he hears me pick up the pill bottle he runs over because he knows he is getting one of these treats. I am truly thankful for these!

Good product; loved by my cat; don't use too many as a treat only!
I wouldn't use these as simpIy a treat. I bought these in prep for pilling my cat who has cancer and has been throwing up daily, but her symptom has gone away with a non-pill product. She has lost half her weight and is now maintaining 5 lbs. I gave 4 as a treat to train her too accept ointment applied to the inside of her ear. I gave her four, a few days in a row. Mistake: vomited and didn't make it to the litter box in time and pooped a loose stool on the floor. It may have been the oil in the product. Anyway, try them! My cat loved them! I now give her a tiny piece (1/4 inch in diameter) as a reward after ointment treatment. She does't really need it because she doesn't resist treatment, but I just like to treat her. I would try one at first, then increase if you want. Maybe it wouldn't have the same symptoms. Anyway, Camille loved them.

A Happy Mistake!!
I bought these Greenies by mistake, thinking they were for my dog. But what started as a mix-up turned into a brilliant discovery! Some Facts: Money Saving Hack: These pill pockets are a clever money-saving hack. Despite being labeled for cats, they're perfect for both my feline friend and my small dog, eliminating the need for separate treats. Generous Quantity: With a whopping 85 treats in each bag, I'm getting plenty of bang for my buck. It's like a treat treasure trove that lasts and lasts! Perfect Size: Unlike the larger dog pill pockets I used before, these are just the right size for my pooch's medicine. He's 15lbs andhe doesn't take giant pills. No need for dividing or cutting them into smaller pieces – it's hassle-free dosing every time. Dog-Approved Flavor: Even though they're meant for cats, my dog absolutely loves the chicken flavor. It's a win-win for both my pets! Freshness Guaranteed: These pill pockets are super fresh, ensuring that every treat is as delicious as the first. No stale snacks here – just pure, tasty goodness. These pill pockets have not only simplified medication time but also saved me money while keeping both my pets happy and healthy. It's a win-win all around! 🐾💰 Talk to your vet though cause I don't want to say they're good for all dogs.

True Life Saver - I Cried
Listen... my cat is SMART. For example she likes to try to escape the house so we put a bell on her & she learned to walk without it making any noise so she could still get out. She will not take a pill. I tried for an hour & she would cheek it no matter how many tricks I used. I tried hiding it in wet food - nope. Hid it in Churu - also nope. She'd eat around anything I put it in & leave the pill. I was 100% certain that it was absolutely foolish to even try these pill pockets - she'd just eat the treat & not take the meds. Ordered them anyway because $10 for 3.5 months worth is too good a value not to at least attempt. So the next day they come in & I go to her with my bitten/scratched up hands from the previous day's debacle... eats the entire thing in less than 2 seconds & meows at me because she wants another. I cried because I was so relieved - if you know the struggle then you know exactly what I mean. She even tried to break into the bag for more in the wee hours of the morning whilst everyone slept. These things are a miracle! Are they a little oily & smelly? Yes. Are they healthy for my cat? I honestly have no idea. Did they arrive a little smushed & maybe not all entirely usable without some manipulation? Absolutely. But they are a complete lifesaver for my sanity and for my kitty's actual life. As an aside - they are super soft & moldable. Her pill is a little longer than the actual pill pocket itself so I just smush it around until it is covered. Even the broken/squished pockets can be mushed together & still work. I also considered breaking the pill in half (check with the vet first) and giving it to her in two different pill pockets if I needed to hide it better, but for her it worked with one.

Inconsistent Product Quality
I have ordered this product 12 times & 2 of the times I felt these treats smelled a little off & were all gobed together. My cats also did not seem to like them as much. I thought maybe I was imagining it until it happened on my most current order. I went out and bought the same product at a brick & mortar store. When I compared the two there was a night & day difference in smell & texture. My cats also preferred the fresher treats. Sadly, would prefer to buy online like I have in the past since it is cheaper & more convenient, but will never compromise on my cats wellbeing. The two products I ordered were within the Best Before date. It's as if they were stored improperly in a hot warehouse or something causing them to become rancid. They are going into the garbage unfortunately.

These can make pilling a cat easier
One of our two cats, a male, would not eat one of these pill pockets if it contained a pill. When our female cat had medication prescribed, she at first would get the pill pocket in her mouth and chomp and work her tongue on it. Four out of the first six times, the pill and pill pocket material was swallowed. The other two times, the pill pocket material went down but one pill got dropped into the dish. She dropped the other pill into her water bowl a short time later. All was not lost. I know how to pill a cat, if necessary, just using the pill itself. But since our cats need to take their medication long term, I decided to use pill pocket material as a wrapper for the pill. This made for a smaller, easier to swallow, round payload with some non-medicinal, cat-friendly flavor. And, it did not require my cats to voluntarily eat the pill pocket with a pill inside. When I pill the cats this way, the payload is bigger than a pill, but much smaller than a whole pill pocket with a pill inside. I pill by sitting on the floor cross-legged, with the cat in my lap. I open the cat's mouth with its head pointed upward, pop or roll the payload in toward the back of the throat. Because of the payload's size, I don't clamp the cat's mouth shut and hold it until I'm sure the cat has swallowed. I don't clamp because I don't want to turn pill time into a wrestling match or something they will run and hide to avoid. I do hold the cat's jaw so its head is raised. That way, the pill goes to the throat, with gravity helping, and usually then goes down. Sometimes they will do some chomping or roll it around in their mouth. Usually, especially if I've dampened the ball, it goes down with little effort. Once in a great while, the cat will eject the payload from the back of its mouth. This results in the payload being retrieved and the cat being pilled again. Final note. I usually shmooze with the cats before pilling. Whether the pill goes down on the first try or not, the cat gets a treat and much praise and petting afterward. Cats are only human-like in some ways. They're smart and have feelings. They don't react well to being treated like object A that must have object B inserted into it day after day. I've won my cats' willingness to go along with this daily routine by doing what I could to make it as pleasant as possible. They realize there is something in it for them that they like. I strongly recommend this approach.

The best thing I've bought for my cat!
This is the best thingnive ever bought for my cat. Ginger is a finicky eater and extremely sensitive to meds. I've always struggled to give Ginger her meds, but this Greenies Pill pockets have been a God send. The pill pockets are soft and mouldable so it is very easy to hide a tablet in it. If the tablet is too big, I wither break it into 2 or I use 2 of these pill pockets. They are soft and so very easy to mesh 2 together and then stuff the tablet in it. Ginger gobbles it down in flash! Wish I had discovered this much earlier!
