I've always used dryer sheets because I absolutely abhor static electricity! But I've recently realized the chemicals build up in your clothes over time and they become impossible to wash (get clean). And the dryer sheets are made of a type of plastic, which only adds to our landfill waste problem and plastic waste in general. So, I decided to give these a try. I did 2 loads of laundry today and used 3 balls in each dryer load. Upon emptying each dryer I realized the first dryerload had no static electricity and the second dryer load only had 2 pieces full of static. But interestingly I just gave each piece a shake and the static went away. I'm already convinced after only 2 loads of laundry.

I was definitely skeptical of using dryer balls, but with the insane amount of dog/cat hair plus kids clothes with lint… I decided to give it a try. Now I won’t ever go back 😂 the first few drying cycles of clothes with these gave my lint trap a HUGE amount of dryer lint. I didn’t even realize just how much lint and hair and fuzz had built up on our clothes! It also helps keep big sheets/bedding from clumping AND reduces wrinkles from letting clothes sit too long. I have oddly grown to love the sound of them gently tumbling it’s like a comfort noise now lol they have held up for months and keep a nice little smell of clean laundry which helps add freshness. I absolutely love these and am so glad we started using them!

The balls are super high quality wool and do pull the hair of your clothes but they leave a really fine white lint on dark leggings, t-shorts and some sweaters. If they had dark colored balls I would buy them.

Was a little skeptical about using dryer balls instead of fabric softener sheets. I was worried about static buildup on my clothes but I can say that I am highly impressed with this product. The wool dryer balls maintain their shape and help the clothes dry faster. The towels come out soft and clothes less wrinkled. I’ve heard you can put essential oil for fragrance on the wool balls but haven’t tried it yet. Very pleased with this purchase

Not perfect, but work decently well for lowering the amount of cat hair my clothes come out with. Good price for amount too.
