Katden Dark Green Cat Kennel With Mattress & Liner

We have a little cat that started appearing in our community after placing a paper collar on him and searching the social media we decided he was in fact homeless. He has made his "nest" underneath some bushes and with the winter approaching I was worried he might not survive. He loves affection but he doesn't like to be indoors so the option was to provide a home outside and after trawling all the reviews on various options I decided on this one from Mr. Snugs and its perfect. Its waterproof, sturdy and as I bought it complete with the insulated liner and mattress it is so very cozy. With the liner in its not huge inside, but thats a good thing as it stays warmer, but it is big enough for an average cat. At least I can rest a bit easier when I go to my nice warm bed knowing our little stray is also nice and warm. A full 5 stars from me!

Mr Snugs the Katden seems to be living up to its name... Our stray cat took to it immediately and spends much of his time in it. I opted for the Mr Snugs with a fleece interior and am glad that I did as I feel it protects the cat - who refuses to come in - from the cold weather we are now experiencing. I've added an extra blanket and small cushion so these protect the fleece lining and can be taken out easily to wash. As for the den's size, it seems to be ideal for him (he's about average). My main priority was that the shelter should be watertight and, being a single piece of molded plastic with no seams etc, Mr Snugs is dry despite being tested by some heavy rain a while ago. All in all, I'm very pleased with the "Katden", and, judging by the length of time he spends in it, so is its resident.

Great product, and the little fella loves it. Wasn't sure how he'd react to a new bed. As soon as I unboxed it and installed the mattress liner we bought with it he was straight in. He loves it. It is well made, totally dry and very robust. The 'porch' helps to keep out the drafts and he seems to love it. Excellent product and very happy with it.

Quick delivery, build quality and bedding excellent

Superb for winter, for any cat stuck outside. I've used mine for a neighbour's cat when the temperature dipped. I've bought two more for other households. Good design, insulated and minimal rain coming in due to slanting door step.

I put this in my front garden with the liner as my neighbour kept leaving their cat outside at night in below freezing temperatures. It's perfect for my purposes - at a glance it looks like a recycling box so it's quite camouflaged. Even better, my little ginger neighbour used it almost immediately to sleep in. It's really sturdy and looks like it will last a long time. I'm thrilled (and relieved!!) with this product and I'd thoroughly recommend it

This is amazing, my cat loves this

I was very impressed with the speed of dispatch and delivery of this item. I bought it for a local cat who has an owner but has decided he prefers the quiet life outside mine (he lives with children, other cats and dogs). It was breaking my heart seeing him sat on my doorstep in all weathers with no protection from the elements. I bought the mattress and liner which I think will make it lovely, snug and warm for him in the winter. At the moment I've just put a small blanket in it for comfort and he is definitely sleeping in there when the weather isn't too hot. The colour is perfect to blend in with the bushes and it's not too big. I think it will be a tight fit in winter with the liner so probably not suitable for more than 1 cat if you do order that extra although if anyone knows cats, they often surprise you at what looks like a very uncomfortable place to have a sleep!
