Car Portable Baby Monitor with Night Vision Cam, Wireless Transmission, Universally Compatible, 4.3” Digital Display, Mounts onto Headrest and/or Windshield

My wife had been using the rear facing car seat mirror she purchased from Babies R Us to keep on eye on our daughter. The problem with the mirror is that it requires light so it can refract the image of the baby in the car seat. So you can guess how fun it is to try to keep on eye on your child in a cloudy day or even better at night. I began looking around and found the Yada Tiny Traveler to replace the mirror in each of our vehicles. We absolutely love them, whether it's day or night the wireless picture being transmitted from the camera to the monitor is crisp and clear. It has really helped to put our mind at ease and has truly helped us to focus more on the road versus having to constantly look back trying to catch a glimpse of what she is doing our how she is sleeping. We would definately recommend this product to all parents whether your child is in a rear facing or front facing position in the car seat. with this product you'll truly be able to keep an eye on the road and your child keeping everyone safe.

I love using the baby monitor! I'm the parent who has a baby monitor in everywhere the baby sleeps (crib, pack and play, etc). I originally got a mirror for the car so I could see the baby while driving. At first this was okay, but then I took my first night time trip, and I couldn't see anything. I looked on Amazon for a solution, and found this monitor. It was simple to setup, and works great. During the day I get a clear up close shot of my child, and at night the IR lights kick in and I can see just like it's daytime. The wireless works great, and I've never had any issues. The only two complaints are 1) no auto-dim at night. It can be a little bright during the night, but I quickly learned which buttons lower the brightness quickly. and 2) the IR changes instantly. This is good at night, as I don't have to wait for the picture. But during the day if I drive under trees or an overpass, the screen blinks and flashes as it quickly changes between IR night mode and regular day mode. Not a huge deal, just a little annoying. I got over it quickly. Overall, well worth the small price for the sanity it gives me. I love being able to see my child at night and at day nice and clear.

This camera is great for watching our little guy in the back seat while I drive. The camera is very small, and the device comes with several mounting options. I use the suction cup attachment and attach the camera to the rear window of my SUV. It has remained in place ever since I attached it to the window (months ago), aside from one night when the temperature went below zero. The monitor provides a very good image, my only complaint is that at night it is sometimes too bright. Even when I adjust the brightness to the lowest setting, it is still pretty bright, and can make it hard to see if there are few street lights. The windshield mount is excellent, just like the camera mount. Overall a great product and a great value for the price. This is the second Yada camera system I've purchased, I have one in my wife's car as well.

We have two of these cameras and have purchased one as a gift. We have had an issue with one of the cameras but this company stands behind their product 100% The customer service has been outstanding as we are trying to figure out why one of the cameras is not working properly. This is such a useful tool especially when driving on the highways and at night as pulling over is not ideal. As far as safety the camera attaches snugly and securely to the headrest. our daughter will be rear facing for at least two years and having the camera will be very helpful.

Picture is good enough. Sometimes struggles with determining whether or not to be in night vision. Biggest complaint is that the camera has a warmup time!? It worked fine during the summer, but as soon as the weather started to get colder, the camera now takes up to 10 minutes for it to warm up and turn on! Most of our drives are over by then! Also, not sure why they call this wireless. It has a wire on each part (monitor and camera) and requires cigarette lighter ports for each camera at all times! Do not recommend

The picture is clear (eerily so in night vision mode) and installation was quick and simple. We have a 2014 Sienna and it is installed to allow us to see the baby in her rear facing seat. She also has a little mirror to look at so we just extended the headrest on the seatback and pushed the camera in underneath. That way she still has her mirror and the camera is low and stable enough! It does require two car "outlets" so we had to run the power cord for the camera back to the power outlet near the rear door. This works fine, just be careful when you are putting the seats up and down as you could easily crimp/sever the power cord.

This is a great product idea, and overall is significantly better than using the mirrors. In our case, to be able to see our child in the mirror, we had to raise the headrest all the way, which in turn completely blocked our view out the rear window. With the Yada camera, we are able to much more easily keep an eye on our child and still allows us to be able to see out the rear window also! If I were designing the product, there are a few minor things I would change, like having a fish-eye lense on the camera to allow for a larger viewing area, but overall this product works great. The only negative thing I have found, is that even though the product says it does not interfere with the radio signal, I have found that to be false, and I can no longer listen to my favorite stations, but can only pick up a few local stations now.

I purchased this product because we have our baby's seat in the center seat which has no headrest for a mirror and as new parents we really wanted to be sure that the baby was okay while we were driving. So i saw this product and figured that I could use the center armrest in the car as a place to strap the camera to and I was right. The camera strapped right around the arm rest and the viewing station suctioned to our windshield. Within 5 minutes we were up and running with a good quality picture and piece of mind. Pros: Easy Setup Good quality Image Day/Night vision Versatile camera mounts/straps Cons: nothing to report and have been using it for 7 months Suggestions: If your car is equipped with a cigarette outlet that only turns on when the car is on, you should use that outlet. Get a Y adapter and have both the units come on with the car and turn off with the car. If not just be sure to unplug the units!
