Does it help room from getting hot from the sun compared to not having anything on your window?

My front door gets very hot. I put this on the windows on the side of the door. Since this filters the sunlight, it feels a lot cooler in the house.

How many rolls would I need to cover sliding glass doors and 3 small windows

Id say 5 or 6 just to be safe. 1 covered my wood glass front door with very little left over. Its beautiful though.

What is the thickness of the film?

It’s thicker than other films or skins that I’ve used. I would say about the same as construction paper. Sorry I don’t have an exact answer.
