I wasn’t sure about the yellow net in the picture but when it was delivered it came with a white net. Easy to assemble, my only criticism is that all the push in connectors have all gone rusty. This happened within six months so not sure how durable the rest will be. Our last goal was much cheaper and lasted years.

A good garden goal which my kids enjoy. For description purposes, my 8x6 goal has a depth of 1.29 metres - not the 1.52 metres as described in the product page. The goal length and goal height descriptions are accurate though. That goal depth issue aside , I am happy with this goal.

A robust frame and the last one lasted 18 months of regular use, so decided to purchase another one. However, after just 1 day a hole appeared in the net. Also it took a while to build as we had to get a hammer on one of the tubes as it was oval shaped and wouldn't fit in the other piece. Overall though good value for a garden goal.

My son has a very powerful right foot. Initially I bought him a PVC heavy duty goal - He shattered the front upright within a week, when the ball hit it just so. Lesson learned - I then looked to purchase a metal (steel) goal, assuming they would be alot sturdier. I picked up a £40 Opti metal goal and for a year this was perfect. Yes it rusted and didnt weather as well as I hoped, but it took all my son could throw at it. Until one day, I stupidly banged into the crossbar while keeping goal for him. This in turn cracked the welding at the front (bottom) strut, rendering the goal useless. I'm sure a combination of rust and repeated impact didnt help the joint but the design lended itself to this weakness being exposed at some point. Lesson learned - I realised I still needed a metal goal, but one with a more conventionl goal shape which in turn should have better stability/durability. I came across this kickmaster model and decided to purchase the 8ft version. Compared to the old cheaper 6ft Opti goal, this 8ft version meant the goal was slightly wider and more importantly, much higher so I couldn't accidentaly collide with the cross bar. Initial impressions are good: A good strong net that pings the ball back to you with each strike. (You will need to buy cable ties to secure the net as none are provided for you) Very sturdy frame which was well labelled and easy to set up. I did notice slight rusting in areas when taking the product out of the packaging but this was no different than the old Opti goal. I assume this goal will weather similarly too. The goal is alot higher so less balls will fly over the neighbours fence : ) One minor point of note is the garish yellow net it comes with. It may be strong but it does really stand out in your garden. This may not be a problem for you, but I wish this had of come supplied with a black net as standard. All in all, a good purchase so far. Update: 21.08.2020 Although the goal has stood up well today to the strong winds in my area, there has been a worrying build up of rust in places in what has been a very short time. Refer to pic attached. I can therefore no longer recommend this goal as a result as rust build up like this will eventually lead to a loss of structural integrity.
