This has helped me with my stubborn break out on my nose! My hormones decided to give me the worst acne of my life and nothing was really working for me. I remember this product back in the days, but it was known to be very expensive. Glad to see it-- well not too wallet breaking. However, I took the chance and I'm seeing results. The rule though, you need to kept up with your skin care. Don't miss a day, follow instruction and so on. My skin is clearing up after 2 weeks of use. I still have a way to go, but I'm very glad to see my skin not look embarrassing. My skin does dry up from the treatment, so use hydration products. Suggest getting the cheapest option to see any changes.

I highly recommend this product although the price may be a little steep it doesn't come short with the wonders it works for skin. I tried all types of skin care products and brands from Byoma to non branded facial scrub at the dollar store and nothing has cleared my skin and kept it clear like the 3 step Proactive skincare set. It's a very easy beginner skincare set that contains cleanser, toner, and repairing cream. Now don't be fooled by the little bottles because a little goes a long way for these products leaving skin glowy and clear. My skin is combination skin meaning I have both oily and dry areas on my face but with this skincare set It not only moisturizes my skin but controls the amount of oil it produces to keep my skin fresh throughout the day. My favorite item out of this set is the repairing cream. If you have sudden pimples simply clean the area and rub the cream on the skin and the next day the pimple is dried out leaving you with clear skin once again. If you're someone like me who has struggled with acne or just wants products that will leave your skin fresh and new I encourage you to give the Proactiv 3 step skincare a try!

It's really good. I've been using it for the past year at least and it works. The first few days to weeks it makes your acne worse than it clears it up. I use it once every night every day and if I skip a day I'll break out.

Hard to review because it works for some and not others . My son had acne that wouldn't clear up with this so saw a dermatologist next . I had light pimples and it cleared my skin and made me very glowy . People actually said youre glowing. My son's acne got better at first with this and after about 2 months very red and angry . Id say try it if your acne is very mild

I am a 65 y/o female with adult acne. I've been using the Proactiv for over 2 weeks now and it's doing a good job of controlling the acne. One thing I noticed many years ago is that dairy makes my face break out in painful red bumps. How do I know that? Because I stopped drinking milk once for many months. Then tried it again, and boom, zits. It happens every time I ingest milk. I haven't had a glass of milk in years, but I'll use it in mashed potatoes and that's enough to trigger the acne. I can tolerate cheese. Maybe it has something to do with the aging process of cheese. Sour cream and milk seem to be the worst irritants. People, stop buying into the B.S. that you must drink milk to get your protein. Milk is for baby cows! Why do humans drink another mammal's milk? It's gross if you think about it. Besides, that junk in the carton doesn't even come close to what comes out of the cow. It's so highly processed and stripped of all things natural and amped up with all kinds of man-made chemicals. Just search for 'foods with protein other than milk' to find different ways to get protein. Also, resting the palms of my hands on my cheeks and chin while I'm on the computer will cause those areas to break out due to bacteria on my hands. Now, onto the 'make sure you don't...' part. Benzoyl peroxide is an oxidizing agent that possesses antibacterial properties. About the oxidizing part. Make sure you don't get it on any fabric that you value like clothes or your good wash cloths or towels when you're washing your face. If at all possible, use the cleanser in the shower. Here's what I did. I put the cleanser on my face and then gently washed with a soft wash cloth. I rinsed the wash cloth out several times and I wiped all the cleanser off my skin. The next day I noticed that the wash cloth was bleached out, even after repeated rinsing. In closing, if you eat/drink dairy, stop doing it for a couple of weeks and see if your skin clears up. The Proactiv can't do its magic if you keep ingesting things that cause your face to break out. No amount of water will put out a fire if you keep throwing gas on it.

Ordered the Proactiv 3-step treatment, 30-day set. That is the kit pictured. We used it before and it worked fine. Got sent the ProactivMD set instead. Sounds like it should still do the job, so going to try it out. But would have preferred if the seller could have sent the correct stuff. The low rating is more about the seller than the product.

This is my first review on Amazon, this product changed my life. I had acne for 10 years, it cleared up on 3 weeks! It’s crazy how good this is!
