Like this type of book, thriller, mystery, puzzles to solve. Characters were fleshed out and interesting. I kept visualizing who might play the parts.interesting places and people, action that was feasible and not outrageous. Suspense and danger, some humor. I enjoyed the book very much.Did not want to put it down. Proved that one can write an interesting tale without relying on bad language and the basest human trash. I hopeMr. Smith will write more. The history and story of Melk Abby was a special addition.

An incredible book !!! "Page turner" doesn't begin to describe it ! Bill Smith makes you "see" every scene and walk along side the characters. Amazingly well written for a tenth book and this is his first ! Step aside John Grisham and Greg Isles, there's a new kid in the block !!!!

Each turn of the page amplifies this adventure, with an exciting resolution. This would make a non-stop movie/tv series... especially in the settings in which it is told. I can't wait for Bill Smith's next book to chronicle the unstoppable Gerhard and Wolf duo..

I really enjoyed this book. It is a good mystery with many turns and twists. You are always wondering what will happen next and trying to determine how characters fit into the plot or what they will do next. I am waiting for the next book by Bill.

Seven Turns is a very good book, especially for a debut novel. Story is well written and keeps your attention....The mystery is intriguing and well laid out .The main detective character is intelligent and interesting. The various locations in the story, and especially Melk Monastery in Austria, added to the enjoyment.. I highly recommend it.

I did not want to put this book down. Anyone who enjoys a good mystery will want to read it. The author created intriguing characters and a spellbinding storyline. I love it and highly recommend it. I look forward to the next book written by Bill Smith!

Fast and fun I'm reading Smith's other books as soon as possible . I enjoy his descriptions of the places where the action takes place . The humor is also subtle and sharp

This was a good solid read. It kept me interested from page one. I want to read the next book by this author. I hope the next book continues on where this book left off using some of the same characters. I liked the historical aspect of this book since I recently visited Europe on a River Cruise.
