I bought this Earth Mama Organic Nipple Butter for my daughter during her postpartum recovery, and it’s been such a soothing little essential for her. The texture is soft and gentle, and she likes that it melts in easily without feeling sticky or heavy. With all the nursing she’s doing, having something that brings quick comfort has made a big difference for her. She appreciates that it’s made with organic, natural ingredients, especially during a time when her skin is extra sensitive. It’s safe to use while breastfeeding, and she doesn’t have to worry about wiping it off before feeding, which keeps things simple during those busy newborn days. Because of the ingredients like cocoa butter and shae butter, it smells faintly like chocolate which is a HUGE win in my book over the scent of lanolin. Unlike how thick, sticky, and hard to wipe off lanolin can be, this nipple butter (while still greasy at first) rubs into the skin and does not leave me feeling like I need a shower after every application. It also leaves my skin noticeably soft AND it has helped my nipples tremendously this go-around since I've been pretty exclusively pumping. I have nipple trauma from my last breastfeeding/pumping excursion (14 years ago we didn't know as much about flange sizes and how to pump without it hurting as we do now, especially since I live in a smaller town with MAYBE one lactation consultant) and this nipple butter has helped with the traumatized and wounded skin so much. It can't heal it, obviously, but by making sure I apply this to it before each pump it not only soothes and hydrates the skin, but it acts as a lubricant for the pump flange so it doesn't pull and damage the skin further. I would say I'd buy it again, but I'm already on my second pot of it so I guess it's obvious I would!

This stuff has been an absolute lifesaver for me and my baby. When I was nursing it was my holy grail to keep and soreness and dryness away. My baby also sucks his thumb and gets thumb scabs and since this is safe for them to use on the nips I figured it might help his thumb heal while being safe if he ingested it and it healed his thumb up within days even with him still sucking on it!! It smells amazing, easy to apply, and lightweight, although it can be slightly greasy feeling but that was not a negative for me.

Love the diaper balm- nipple balm smells great but didn't work as well for chapped nipples as the diaper balm worked to clear up diaper rash

Love the fact that it's safe for baby to swallow. Considering I'm a first time mum and doing exclusive breastfeeding and my little one hates the bottle... so I literally nurse her all day. Having this mama earth nipple cream has made it quite an easy journey. Would recommend.

The best breastfeeding nipple butter. Those first weeks of breast feeding are ROUGH and painful but I didn't experience any bleeding and I think it was due to this product keeping my nipples moisturised. Mine came with a 3 year expiry. It is baby safe too so it doesn't need to be wiped off. I wish it was cheaper though but is so worth it.
