Entertaining but Overall Not Useful
My make-up brushes were in desperate need of a good cleaning so I thought I would give this gadget a try.I used a couple of drops of Dawn and followed the directions to move brushes up and down as they were spinning and then up out of the water to dry them.Worked really well on the smaller brushes. It was really working the little motor hard when I got to the blush brush with the RPM's slowing visibly and causing some shimmying.It was nearly useless on my foundation and loose powder brushes with RPM's really slow and the shimmying to the point that it was hard to hold on to the cleaner. It also shook to the point that my loose powder brush flew out of the holder twice. The foundation brush stayed in the holder only because the brush itself has a non slip rubber handle.It also didn't go fast enough to get all of the water out of the larger brushes nor to dry them.It did get the brushes clean but overall, it was fun to use with the concealer, eyeshadow and eyeliner brushes but useless for the bigger brushes. Kind of expensive for just a couple of the brushes so I am sending it back.

I hated hand washing my makeup brushes, but this is soooo easy! Super Fast and I don't have to wait for them to dry! Plus it's so fun to clean them now!

It is like a mini washboard
I thought I had been "cleaning" my brushes all this time. No way - not until this little gizmo arrived. It is like a mini washboard. I have never seen so much make up come off my brushes until I used this. I thought rubbing the cleaner (usually Dawn) with my fingertips into the brushes and then rinse, rine, rinse was doing it. No way. Soaking them also damaged my handles. I am buying these in bulk for all my family & friends.
