Pentel XK110/2-XXZX Hybrid Dual Metallic Gel Pen - Gold/Silver (Pack of 2)

These pens add lovely sparkle to my coloured in pics. Very glittery. Very pleased with them.

These pens are gorgeous. I can't really notice much difference on light or dark paper, but they are super shiny! Great for designs or christmas cards, but wow they are expensive! I would never spend this much money on 2 gel pens but if you can warrant it, these are really nice.

Not to sure about these pens, at the current price, I would think they have something special in the ink. They are good, but nothing magnificent. The colour on white cardboard is nice. It has a multi-tone effect on light and dark paper. On brighter paper it stands out, but not so much on darker paper. The main issue is that at the current price, it seems overpriced. If the colours where truly striking and stood out dramatically then fair enough. I just cannot see that an artist can justify using this when you have such a vast range of metallic colours. My wife being an artist said the pens are nothing great and she had used better and due to the nature of two-tone colours she would have limited use. As generally artists want to accentuate certain colours accordingly. Nice metallic pen, but nothing special to warrant the price.

The gold pen can pass as vibrant. The silver pen is flat and only looks silver when you angle it to catch the light. Otherwise it looks grey. The ink flow from both pens is generous and smooth. They write well. They do show up on black paper but I don't know about their tagline "Colour and sparkle like never before" because the effect was rather unimpressive. I'm stunned that the price is showing as £37.43. They are definitely not worth more than a fiver.

I've had metallic ink pens before, but not iridescent inks, I tried the pens on a couple of different coloured papers but I have to say that the ink didn't really stand out strongly. For the price I would expect something that stands out a bit more, slightly disappointing.

Very expensive! Nice looking pens but nothing exceptional. Write smoothly and evenly but again, no more than you'd expect. The colours are quite vivid and seem to remain so days after applying them. They are appealing and look good but the type and colour of the paper used makes no obvious difference. As that is the pens main selling point and presumably justification for their high price, it makes this a non essential purchase! Try before you buy would be my advice!

I don't get it, these are decent pens but they aren't worth anything like as much as the quoted price. There must be some mistake here.
