Phil - regret the late reply...but my straps measure in as follows: Strap, including the buckle - 11 inches Strap only, no buckle - 10.5 inches You didn't ask, but I don't mind saying I really like the straps. They came nicely packaged, and they have held up well, they look sharp. I don't wear them in a harsh environment (i.e., while mowing the lawn, or working on my car, etc), but if a requirement came up to do so, I would not have a problem using them that way. But I would also understand that using them in a harsh, sweaty, or otherwise wet environment, the life span may shorten. Beyond that...get them, they're nice straps. Warm regards.

Are the metal pieces stainless steel instead of chrome plated?

At this price, I would think the pieces would be made of whatever is cheaper. Heck - unless you are allergic to chrome plated stuff, these watchbands are good.
