Great product and even better customer service
Update on 08/24/19 : This creamโs scent is subtle and I thought it was weak but after few more uses, it really grows on you and is very pleasant. This cream lathers nicely and it is one of the smoothest and slickest item Iโve shaved with. The residual slickness is absent, however, so those shavers that like to put the lather on once and have their razor go over their face multiple times may not like this. I noticed that this creams cleans up really easily and once you go over the lather with your razor, your face is not very slick. If you use this cream, make sure you re-lather your face for each pass, like it was intended. Some reviewer mentioned that they gave a low review because they were contacted twice (unwanted solicitation is what he called it) and I was contacted the same times. Once to let me know the product had shipped and second time to let them know if I was not perfectly happy with the product. I call that awesome customer service and just that alone tells me this company is here to stay. The more I use this cream, more I feel as if I will keep using this product since Iโm amazed at how slick this cream gets, as long as the price stays affordable. I was using shaving soap and a friend of mine gave me a sample of Geo F Trumpers sandalwood shaving cream. It smelled great and was very slick so I decided to shop for some shaving creams. This product had great reviews and the price was just right. I received it today and couldn't wait to try this out! The scent was not really that great and I found that after my second pass, the scent from the bowl could barely be detected. Little dab does go a long way to make nice lather that lasted me 3 passes plus touch-up. It provided nice cushion and lathered on my face evenly. The protection was above average but it was little odd that there was no residual slickness on my face after the pass. That's not necessarily a bad thing since it does clean up nicely. I would be careful to re-lather any areas where your blades would go. I would have no problem keep using this product but when it runs out, I might buy the full size of the Geo F Trumpers to give that a go again. The package was nice and after the shave left my face really soft. Overall, I would recommend this product if you're not really that picky about the scent not being that strong.

Best head shave in forever
I'm guilty of often leaving reviews only for products I have had problems with. This is a glowing review though. I've been shaving my head for years and trying different methods. I went back to trying wet shaving with a razor. I wasn't getting a very smooth shave and assumed it was because I was using a cheap razor. I had been using Gellette shaving gel with said cheap razor. I decided to give this stuff a try. I used this cream with a brush and although I hadn't put much on the brush it ended up being too much after lathering my head twice and my neck twice! So the good news is this should last longer than I initially thought. It doesn't lather up crazy like a traditional soap and brush, but that didn't stop it from working fantastically. I used a razor that is definitely ready to be retired, brushed this all over my head, and shaved. My head is the smoothest and softest I've literally ever felt it! I love it! The smell is practically non-existent which I guess is fine since I use scented beard products. The smell that it does have is not what I consider sandalwood at all. Sandalwood is my favorite scent and it's often jacked up. That said, the faint smell it does have is pleasant. If you're hoping for a strong scent or one that smells like sandalwood, this won't meet your expectations. I wouldn't let that stop you from using it though. Just grab yourself some other scented product be it cologne or beard care.

Smooth, Rich Lather Shaving Cream That Delivers a Comfortable Shave
This sandalwood shaving cream performs really well for creating a thick, rich lather that helps the razor glide smoothly and comfortably across the skin. It softens facial hair nicely and reduces irritation, making it a solid choice for daily shaving routines or anyone with sensitive skin. The sandalwood scent is warm and classic without being overpowering, which adds a nice touch to the overall experience. In use, itโs easy to work into a good lather with a brush or even by hand, and a small amount goes a long way. It gives a consistently close, smooth shave and leaves skin feeling soft afterward, which is why it tends to be a repeat purchase for many users over time.

Excellent shaving cream
I have used Gillette Fusion aerosol gel for years, but I was looking for a non-aerosol cream when I decided to give this a try based on review. I love it. It lathers up nicely using small amounts of cream in a brush and it provides a very slick shave with do drag using a Gillette Fusion Power razor. I don't have the problem mentioned in one of the reviews of it not letting me make several passes because the cream doesn't stay on the skin. I tend to go with the grain, then against the grain as many times as needed and it works fine. I love the subtle scent. I don't think it is any more expensive that aerosol shaving gel because it takes very little to get a really good lather. It leaves my skin feeling very smooth and my wife has noticed the difference.

I bought a few other things from them, the razor, shaving cream, after shave, and brush, and let me tell you I SMELL SO GOOD. Need them to make deodorant next.

A hidden gem.
Top notch. I am an old guy that has tried everything...ask my wife. I have thick whiskers and sensitive, flourescent, allergic to most stuff in shaving products skin. I bought the unscented cream. I opened it up. It has an internal lid to keep the cream from going every which way. I scraped the lid on the side of the jar to get the excess cream off. I used a wet brush to pick up what miniscule amount was on that lid. I did my usual face lather with a Phoenix Artisan synthetic. I was impressed. I had enough lather to do at least two 3-pass shaves. With just a few drop of water added to the brush, I built up an industrial lather, no bubbles and did not dissipate. I had no irritation or sensitivity to the cream. Great glide and cushion. Baby butt smooth shaves, weeper and burn free, were achieved. This is a cream akin to Taylor of Old Bond Street. A little goes a long way. Great product at a great price. I will be buying more.

Nice but don't get Spicy Vanilla. Stinks
I mean. Laters great. "spiced vanilla" smells like a** though. Not sure who developed that, smelled it and said "yeah that's manly". Idk. I like the vanilla beard oil and such but this doesn't smell good at all.

I recommend adding Viking Revolution Shaving Cream to your lineup. You won't be sorry.
I've been wet shaving forever so I've pretty much tried them all. Iโve pretty much stuck to the higher end quality shaving products. Over the last few years I've decided to steer off course and try a medley of items off my radar or passed over because I wouldn't have given them a second thought. I decided to see if I was missing anything so I stepped off my high horse, put my shaving products snobbery in check and dove in. Here's my setup: I did two separate shaves with two days growth each. I used an aggressive open comb razor, a razor blade on the sharper end of the spectrum (on a scale of sharpness from 1 to 100, it's in the 95 percentile). My first shave I whipped up a nickel-sized amount of lather in a bowl with a quality badger brush and applied on my face. Two days later for my second shave I applied cream on a dry brush directly to my dry face and lathered with a wet high quality synthetic brush. Here's what I found: Lathers up quick and thick, the lubrication was slick, my blade glided effortlessly over my face. Blade cushioning and protection is excellent, at times it felt like I was shaving without a blade - no nicks, no scratches, no errors. I let the razor's weight do all the work; I only mention this because when you get that "I don't think there's a blade in my razor" feeling there is that tendency to apply a little pressure to the skin. Don't. Do. It. You will get nicks, cuts, razor burn or all of the above. I was able to get a BBS shave with a WTG and a ATG and a little touchup. Very impressive. Some observations: I find that I need more than the usual amount of water when making a rich lather. What I do in the bowl is build a lather normally and dip my brush to add more water as I go and as needed, I did the same on my face but kept adding water in small amounts, less chance of overdoing it and getting runny. While shaving I found that the lather would build up in my razor as if the lather was too thick, so I rinsed my razor more frequently. In conclusion: If I were in a hurry and needed a close shave with little prep, I would definitely reach for this cream. Smear on face with brush, whip up a lather, shave, rinse, go. I am going to use this cream in rotation. I have not used with a mild to medium closed comb razor yet, but I think it should work a well as my other preferred shaving creams.

Not bad. Smells great
This is a good product. And it does the job. Only 4 stars as it is costly and doesn't go as long as their shaving soap. Plus I find this a little sticky, kind of like shaving gels. So not the smoothest shave. It is easier to use than shaving soap which is the difference. All and all a great product but I'll be sticking to their shaving soap.
