My son's school requested a small towel or blanket to eat lunch on with the social distancing and all. They go outdoors whenever possible. I knew a towel would get filthy and hold dirt, mulch etc. and didn't want to deal with that. This has it's own little drawstring pouch and could not be more lightweight. It's perfect. Adds no weight or bulk to his already heavy and full backpack. I washed it for the first time after several days of use. It had a few dirt marks and grass marks - a couple squirts of stain remover and it came out like new. I hung it up to dry on a trouser hanger (clips on either side). I washed it with a load of clothes. It did soften a bit after washing. Perfect for what we needed it for. We own three.

I’m going to say that this really isn’t a blanket in my opinion. It is more like a waterproof tarp. I think this will be great when we are headed to the lake in the summer. We normally come home with very dirty towels and blankets from laying them on the “beach” and I’m looking forward to putting this down first. It comes with stakes to hold it in place and folds down into a small square. About 3 in wide and 5 inches long. It was easy to fold up and return to the included drawstring pouch. I think this will be good to cover items or people during those sudden rainstorms too. This is a welcome addition to our lake bucket.

Bought this for its stated ease of carry and size. Glad to have it because it is super lightweight, easy to fold and carry around. My dog likes it, too-- to be frank, it is not strong enough to handle the clawing and gnawing of a puppy.If you are looking for a lightweight ground cover that you can carry around in your bag or car, this is a good choice. The blue is a nice shade and it is well sewn.If you are looking for a traditional blanket or something with a little heft to it, this is not for you.

Throught it was going to be bigger.,but it does work for one person to sit,but not to lay on .I am 5"4 and I hang off the end ...Kept it any way ..good to have just to keep in the car and it packs small ..

Good quality fabric. Water resistant and packable. We take it hiking and have set it on dirt, rocks, sand, grass and more. Water has not come through yet. It also has not shown any wear after a few uses. Love the size and weight. Great for day hikers beach goers and backpackers.

At first, I thought I hit upon the holy grail of picnic blankets - super lightweight, folds into a small bag, pretty color... Little did I know that this is completely NOT water proof or water resistant. The minute the ground is even a little damp, my pants are totally soaked. I only knew this the first time it drizzled one day and I tried to use this blanket the next afternoon. Within minutes, my shorts had not only big wet patches on my backside, somehow the dirt had also seeped through and ruined my light colored shorts. It’s too late to return them, and I had even bought two. Waste of money. I got another one from a different seller/brand, and it is perfect, zero water seepage. Throwing these ones out. Mad I wasted the money.

Good quality groundsheet. I bought this to use on the floor to capture hair clippings now that we are cutting our own hair because of "stay at home" orders during the pandemic. This is the perfect size, lightweight, and hair does not stick to it. It would be a good size for one person if you use it at the beach. There are pockets in the corners to hold sand for weight, and it comes with 4 stakes to use in the corners too. Excellent value.

Couldn't resist buying this as the blue is my favorite color. The mat is pretty easy to fold up and since it comes with a nice and small bag, it's convenient to bring it around. The size is also big enough for my family to all sit on it. I've used it for picnics so far but I'm excited to test it out at the beach. No more sneaky sand in the car!
