Safe for plastic gears against plastic gears? Not plastic to metal. just plastic to plastic? Will it quiet down noisy gears?

Yes, this grease is safe on most all materials, including plastic, and will effectively lubricate the gears.

I am looking for a high viscosity grease for use in gearing to smooth and slow the action. Is this an ideal product for this use?

I use Krytox for O'ring seals where there is high pressure oxygen present ( 2000 to 3000 psi ) to prevent fire and explosions, as in mixing nitrox. It is also used in gauges and pipe threads for oxygen. If you don't need the non-flammability property's in this grease, There are probably a lot of grease products on Amazon that will work better. And a whole lot cheaper for sure.

How does this grease compare to Nyogel 767A?

Nyogel is a dampening grease. No dampening qualities to Krytox. Krytox is for extreme environments, heat, cold, caustic, etc. What to use depends on what are you trying to accomplish. Specific grease for specific job. Read specification sheet for various Krytox and Nyogel greases and use whichever one meets the criteria for your purpose.

I have a hose stuck on an outside faucet. Will this help to unscrew it?

GPL 207 will help ensure it does not become stuck in the future, but to remove it now we would recommend DuPont Penetrant.
