The Band is the ultimate action sports watchband when it comes to holding your valuable (or not so valuable) timepiece, GPS or monitor to your wrist. The Band is incredibly durable, and it's unique nylon wrap-around watch strap design, can handle any use and abuse you can dish out. 3/4” / 20mm size fits most standard watches on the market. Soft 1.5” wide base webbing for comfort and durability. Double wrap-around hook/loop design holds tight under all conditions.

A good looking decent band
I really liked this watch band because of its thickness and the way it looks. It really isn't that difficult to put on and I'm not sure how some people are struggling with this. The band is exactly what it appears to be in the pictures.MY main issue is that I use a smart watch, a Ticwatch C2. This watch has the sensors on the bottom to track the body information as well as knowing if it is on your wrist. This isn't the end of the world if you don't care about the bio metric info and if you keep your watch unlocked all the time. However, one of the main reasons I bought this model was for Google Pay which requires the watch to have a lock feature. This means I would need to unlock the watch every time I wanted to use it. This is cumbersome and slows down the paying process enough that it bothered me.So to remedy this, I cut the "hook" part of the velcro in half and sewed it back to create permanent loops around the pins on the actual watch. This takes care of the hook part, however the "loop" part is still in the way. To fix this I used an exacto knife to cut a square of the fabric out. This lets the watch sensors rest on my actual wrist and works perfectly. Keep in mind that when you cut the nylon part, it will start to fray uncontrollably if you don't burn it. To do this, cut the hole, and then use a lighter to GENTLY burn the frayed edges so they don't completely fall apart. When you burn it, the ends will bunch up which will be uncomfortable. To fix this, when you burn it, remove the lighter and then immediately push down on the edge against a flat surface which will flatten it and then stay that way once it cools. This is a ways to go to use this watch band, but I really like it and there doesn't seem to be a smart watch compatible thick band like this. Overall, I very much like this setup and hopefully this helps someone else out in my situation.

Total fail.
At first I sort of hated this band, its goofy to get "right" on my wrist. I DO like the velcro. I installed it about 3 days ago. Huge fail in the stitching with "THE BAND" logo. Now, I really hate this band. This is a CRITICAL FLAW. The logo holds the velcro to the band, with the logo as a "cover" of sorts. My nice Seiko Dive watch is free to float off my wrist and into the deep. I'm lucky as I discovered this on land., not at sea! I've asked for a replacement as I need a new band, but honestly I'm not sure I want to trust my gear with this anymore. See photos for fail details. The entire thing fell apart and separated.

Perfect for use and abuse.
Bought the band knowing that my watch needed 22mm but decided to go with it anyways in case I want to change out of my Nixon Mission into another watch face. In my opinion the best bang for your buck. I go through quite a bit of bands due to every day activities and this band seems the most promising. And it does not require for you to take out the pins if you already have them on your watch. It's a bit harder than you usual watch to put on but in my opinion it worth it. This by no means is a fancy band but if you need something that's operational, this is gonna be your best bet.

Sturdy but uncomfortable end
This is my 4th "The Band" I have owned over the past 8 years.Sturdy, rugged, sporty, and functional. The complaints about the velcro fraying after a year seem a bit petty to me as it would be hard to imagine a product sold for this price not fraying after opening and closing it 1-2x a day for a year.I never had this problem on my first three but this one has one end with "burnt nylon" edge that is sharp and prickly and started rubbing my wrist raw. I had to cut off the end to make it softer but I'm worried that will start fraying.

Great Watch Band (works for large wrists!)
I use this watch as my "work" watch, so it's continually in water or subjected to grease/paint, etc. I've continually had problems finding a velcro band that's big enough for my wrist. The reviews didn't say how great the band fits large wrists and I was pleasantly surprised when I put it on! The band has a wide/thick part the wraps around your wrist, then it's secured by a thinner velcro band. Very comfortable and there's no way this watch/band is coming off my wrist unless I take it off! Even looks better than "regular" more expensive velcro type bands. Get one!

Best Watchband Ever!!
I have one watch. It costs $25When it stops telling time, I will replace it.I will buy another watch for $25.The Band stays with me though. It is by far the most comfortable and adjustable watch band you will ever own.Bonus Features: *It is known as a "surfer's band", as the watch pins act independently on the band, meaning that losing one watch pin does NOT mean losing the watch, unlike almost any other band. *It is infinitely adjustable. *When it gets dirty, throw it in the washer with the other stuff. Perfect. The WideWatch version being reviewed is required for most larger men's watches, as the narrower bands make the whole thing look silly at the point the band meets the watch case. Trust me on this.As usual, a couple of pics follow.Peace,No BS Guy

Great band, very versatile a little rough though.
I work with big machines and cargo all day so I needed something a bit more rugged than the silicone bands I used to get. After 4 bands that tore I decided on this one. I have to say it feels a little more plastic or nylon than I would have like but it gets the job done. The strap seems to be pretty rugged so far in the past couple weeks ive had it. Has a great range for sizing since I fit it over my sweater or jacket at times due to rain. I personaly would like a thicker material with less lenght to it but as what was described it came out great.

I Highly Recommend This Product!
I can rarely find watch bands that will fit my wrists, and I have a reaction to the metal bezel of most watches and can't afford a solid gold watch (I'd gladly accept one as a gift if offered, though!). This, "The Band," watch band seems to be the solution. When I received it, I immediately put my American Legion watch on it and found the band very comfortable. I recommend this to anyone who needs a casual replacement band. It appears well constructed and is easily adjustable as my wrist swells and contracts throughout the day.

Good price, medium quality
Price is great. The quality of the stitching and fabric on the velcro hook part of the band is suspect - I don't expect it will last. The velcro strap is 20mm wide, but the nylon band is 1.5 inches wide - much wider than the timex band I was replacing, and not specified anywhere in the product description.Came back to add that this strap is WAY more awkward to put on your wrist and/or adjust than the Timex Fast Wrap that I was replacing. You're wrapping/unwrapping 8 inches of velcro every time, and the watch is attached to the velcro wrap and not the nylon band so you also have to fiddle with positioning every time you put it on.

Bueno

Properly named after the fish trash that is dumped in water.
What a piece of crap! Band is thin and rolls up soon after worn. No instructions in how to install the new band on my watch. I wanted it to be rugged for out side activities. I predict that this won't last a year. It product like this that turns one off of internet buying. My recommendation is, DO NOT BUY!

Exactly what I needed.
A great watchband. I have small wrists, and I usually have to add another hole to traditional watchbands. This one has Velcro almost all the way around, making it extremely adjustable! It took a few days to get the hang of putting it on (because of all the Velcro). Highly recommend.I have had my Timex watch since 2002, so finding a good band is key in continuing to use it.

Tricky
Putting it on so it lines up and fits properly has taken more practice than any watch I have owned. Pretty good otherwise.Update: Velcro is wearing off after about 5 months of use. Strap now dangles at the end and probably won't last much longer. I'd still call it decent for the price, just don't expect it to last years.
