I did a lot of research before buying this travel blanket, and read a lot of reviews. I was optimistic that the blanket would meet my needs, which were a lightweight, soft, reasonably sized blanket that would take up little room in my carry-on. I was impressed by the softness and thought the blankets were appropriately sized (I'm 5'7"). At my height, the blankets will cover from ankle to shoulder easily. The blanket isn't thick, but I'm content with the idea that it'll ward off chill but not save a person from hypothermia. The colors (red and blue) were vibrant, and when I washed them the blankets did not shed at all. I managed to repack them easily, but I think trying to repack neatly on a plane would be cumbersome due to restricted space. I expected that, so it wasn't an issue for me. The end packet was moderate in size, not tiny but not too large that it would be difficult to slip into a carry-on. I'll be slipping it onto the handle of my suitcase, and clipping it to the outside of my carry-on. Some reviewers thought the carabiner was flimsy, and I have to agree that it is small (around 1.5") and not sturdy. Not an issue for me, carabiners are very inexpensive, so I'll just replace it with a 3" ring. Bottom line: it's a great travel blanket, sufficient to ward off the chill and lightweight.

These are awesome! Easy to travel with. Great size. Works as pillow and blanket! Cozy, soft and durable. They have withstanded washing and come out just as soft and nice. Would buy again! Very easy to put away and hangs off the handle of my suitcase perfectly.

This blanket is very soft and warm. I have it 5 stars for those qualities. It’s a night and day difference compared to some of the flimsy, thin travel blankets I’ve had before. But that softness and warmth comes at a cost. This blanket is bulky. If you’re traveling with a carry-on roller bag it’s perfect to use the roller bag sleeve on the pillow’s cover. But if you’re traveling with just a backpack or a bag then traveling with this becomes a bulky. I appreciate that it comes with a carabiner to attach it to a backpack but the bag sways and when I walked down the aisle on the airplane it kinda bumped people. And it’s too bulky to put inside a backpack/bag. I’m still going to keep it as it is really warm and soft. Just wanted people to know what to expect if they get this. UPDATE: I bought some straps from REI to secure it to the outside front of my backpack and that worked great! I still need to attach it to the backpack with the carabiner to make sure it doesn’t completely fall out from the straps but the combo of the two (carabiner + straps), means I can atta h it to a backpack, kept me hands-free and no bumping people!

I purchased this for an upcoming trip to Europe, haven’t used it yet. I did wash and dry it, it feels soft and fluffy. The size is substantial enough to cover my body and the color is a beautiful cobalt blue.

I actually got this for an intended train trip (seems travelers need to provide their own blanket) which I haven't yet taken, due to scheduling changes, but I've been using this at home with the cold weather now setting in and, like any of the plush throw blankets that seem in abundance these days, this works well, providing a light weight cover that takes off the chill. Size is perfect, but, what I appreciate most is, of course, the included carry case. What makes most "throw covers" a bit inconvenient is where to throw them when not in use. This folds down quickly and easily into a very compact case and is neat and tidy and out of the way when you're done with it. Plus, with the blanket out of the case, you can put a towel or anything else inside, and wind up with a pillow and blanket combo. So, while this is great for travel, it's also terrific for home use. I haven't had any need to wash it yet, so I can't say how it stands up to cleaning, but it seems very well made, and of good quality, so, I will just follow the usual instructions for a plush blanket when that time comes, and I'm sure it will come out just fine. Purchased as a gift for a colleague who travels internationally, and she loved it. Blanket easily folds into a travel pillow, which has a clip to attach it to luggage. Blanket is lightweight, yet warm, and very soft- good quality material. Very pleased with my purchase- highly recommend.

I recently flew with the Bluehills travel blanket and it is truly soft and easy to manage. I used it on the plane because it was cold. It was a cozy, soft blanket the covers the whole body and easy to repack back into the carry case. I recommend this blanket.
