I’ve been using this Vitamin C serum for about two weeks, and I’m honestly impressed. The texture is super smooth and absorbs into the skin right away — no sticky feeling at all. It doesn’t irritate my skin, which is something I really appreciate because some Vitamin C serums can be harsh. After using it consistently, my skin feels more revitalized, cleaner, and brighter. It gives that healthy glow without being greasy. Definitely a great option if you’re looking to refresh and hydrate your skin at the same time.

I’m an adult with combination/oily, fungal acne-prone skin and years of hyperpigmentation. I have dehydrated parts of my skin that are extremely sensitive but they’re where my darkest pigment lies. I’ve used so many serums and creams to work on lightening the darkness and usually they do nothing or work so well that they dry my skin out. I took a chance with this because the ingredients were things that previously worked well in another product but with the addition of moisture. I saw the brand and remembered I loved them — tossed it in my cart and waited. I’ve been using it for almost a week and let me tell you, my skin looks amazing. I use it in conjunction with the hyperpigmentation cream from My Topicals and I’m radiant!! I still have hyperpigmentation but it looks better? My skin didn’t burn when I applied, it didn’t itch, no anything! My face hasn’t reacted poorly at all. I could cry. It also looks like it’s helping my acne subside, too. We’ll see where this takes us!

I started using this product probably about 12 weeks ago. Vitamin C serum should be greater than 10% and it takes about eight weeks for it to really make a change on your skin. This along with getting better moisturizers and doing routine facemasks has changed my skin. The picture with the Teal tank top was taken four years ago when I was 26. The picture taken in the red sweatshirt was taken a week ago right before my 30th birthday. The stuff will help change your skin, even your tone, brighten, and hydrate. It’s important to also use a good moisturizer, along with Hydraulic acid, and a good toner. That with routine face masks and exfoliating your skin will change immensely. It doesn’t happen overnight these results were 12 weeks of doing this twice a day.

Not too tacky. Goes on smoothly when you rub it onto your skin. Works wonders. I’m glowing!

I didn’t see a skin improvement, makes my skin super dry .

I’ve been breaking out since young and i’ve used countless amount of vit c products including the tatcha one. I have combo and acne prone skin and this stuff works. It doesn’t break me out and i see some differences in my skin, brighter and less sun damage spot. It does not moisturize but it got on and absorb quicky into the skin. It’s a liquid-ish form and put it in the fridge, i noticed that it got a lil yellow through time. I use an alternative of retinol at night and this in the morning + sunscreen and it does some wonder!

Product came in and the item was expired. Vendor promptly processed a return and sent out another bottle. The second bottle came in and was fine. But keep in mind: the product was labeled “manufactured 2023-12-26. Expired 2025-12-26”. So even though the product wasn’t expired, it would appear that they are selling “older” product. I guess that would explain why it was relatively cheap; I.e., costing $19 when it’s normally around $40. So just a caution: check your expiration dates immediately upon receipt. The product will still work but works better when fresher.

I love the brand Neogen. This is a wonderful product. It is hydrating, helps with acne, improves hyperpigmentation, and works beautifully under makeup. This is a holy grail item for me. However, I paid 18.99 plus shipping for this product on July 11, 2019. I do not understand why the price has drastically increased by $20. Needless to say, this serum is no longer within my budget for continuous use. If you want to splurge on a vitamin C serum, I would get it. If not, there are alternatives out there. Side Note: It works well with combination, sensitive, and acne prone skin.

I bought it again so think it’s pretty good difficult to say how good or if it’s really helped after a short period of time

J’utilise ce sérum Neogen à la vitamine C depuis quelque temps, et je vois une vraie différence sur l’éclat du teint. La texture est légère, pénètre rapidement et ne laisse pas de film gras. Je l’applique le matin, et ma peau semble plus lumineuse et uniforme au fil des semaines. L’association vitamine C + niacinamide est vraiment efficace. L’odeur est discrète, la tolérance est bonne sur ma peau (pas d’irritation chez moi), et il s’intègre facilement à une routine skincare. Le seul point à noter, c’est qu’il faut l’utiliser régulièrement et bien conserver le flacon à l’abri de la lumière pour préserver la vitamine C. Globalement, très bon sérum si vous cherchez à améliorer l’éclat, lisser le teint et estomper les petites irrégularités.
