Excellent Speakers. Highly recommend.
I bought these speakers recently. I like listening to music and am very particular how it sounds. After going through a huge list of speakers I bought these. They are fabulous speakers. The satellite speakers cover the mid to high frequency in the most amazing manner. The subwoofer module has three drivers in different directions. The sound from this blends extremely well no matter where you place it. In totality you get a room full of great sound. The volume control is very precise and you can turn it to make fine adjustment. The overall built quality is also fabulous. They feel premium. I had to stretch my budget a little to buy these. But I can't be happier. Very unexpected, but Creative has really outdone itself with this product. The delivery was through Gati which was very quick. I received the product almost a week before expected delivery.I have attached a Bluetooth receiver to them and It's been playing ever since.

Faulty product delivered
I am big fan of creative product, earlier I was having Gigawirks T3 speakers, but this one seems faulty the small satellite speakers don't work properly no detail found looks like ordinary speakers.. I have doubt the product delivered me is not checked or faulty, needs to look into it.

They have no representative office in Mysore. By the way, this is the best price online. Thanks Amazon. Love your service.

and they are really great. Buy them if your budget allows
The right speaker stopped working exactly after 3 years. With the price I had paid, I thought they'd last longer.

STYLE OVER SAVINGS
I've had My Creative T3's for a little over a week now . Before I decided to go ahead & spend the extra money on them $149.00 ($161.00 with tax), I was also considering buying some Logitech Z 623's Logitech Speaker System Z623 for around 50 to 60 dollars less than the Creatives . Beyond price the two systems are actually quite similar in that (to my ear) they both sound pretty good in the upper half of the volume range whereas the sound quality suffers at lower levels . Between the two systems overall sound quality was pretty much a toss up , although the Logitech's are 200 watts compared to 80 for the T3's so it'd probably be safe to say you could squeeze a little more volume out of the 623's . In the end the space saving good looks & cool volume control knob of the Creatives won out over the lower price of the Logitechs . As a side note , along the way I did find a really surprising set of speakers for very little money in the Logitech Z 323 Logitech Speaker System Z323 with Subwoofer which this link lists for as low as $20.00 (probably not true , but if it is i'm buying some.) I'd give this product 4 stars if the price were more comparable to the Z 623's , but I'm only giving it 3 stars because the high price sucks butt !!! and Sour Grapes ... Hope this review helps & thanks Amazon for getting my order to me a day earlier than expected .UPDATE : 5/6/12 . I've had them for awhile now and they still work great . Moving from the I-Trigue 3200... Definitely better but room for improvement
Edit: Give them a little while and the sound will open up. Add an EQ that ups the midrange and some of the treble and they sound pretty good. One problem though is that you cannot turn the bass completely off... which is more of a disappointment for my housemates across the wall. I'd give them 4.5 stars if I could, because of the bass not turning off and it's annoying to adjust on the back of the subwoofer, and the midranges do leave a little bit to be desired. For desktop speakers though, great.I had a Creative I-Trigue set up that had lasted me about 5 years, until the subwoofer blew out (don't know whether this was on Creative's end or on my own). I decided I wanted a new system with deeper bass, full range of tonality, and that got a little louder. The bass on this system is certain better, but the sound range may honestly have been better on the $120 I-Trigue system. To compare, the I-Trigue system had two satellite speakers, each of which had 2 1-inch drivers for highs, and two 1.5 drivers on the side for mid-range, and a subwoofer.Pros:- Small footprint satellite speakers- Volume dial has a good feel to it, headphone jack and aux input very convenient- Solid bass... it goes fairly deep, definitely enough to shake the room- The sound has I think gotten better over time, but that could just be entirely subjectiveCons:- Bass control is only on the back of the subwoofer... my old system had a separate control for bass on the volume dial, which was real convenient- Midrange may be lacking a bit as others have mentioned, but highs are solid. You can more or less correct this with an equalizer pretty easily (e.g. iTunes), but I still feel like there is something lacking after transitioning to one-driver satellites.- Price is a little step. I didn't go to a speaker store to test out speakers, but you may wish to do so if you can- When very loud, bass is not as warm as you could get from a bigger system, so don't consider them a substitute for a full featured home theater systemAs a whole, these speakers sound distinctly better than most 2.1 systems, and I'd recommend them, but I do still believe there is some lack of depth in the midrange. But I don't think you'll be disappointed with this system. The sound quality is still pretty killer.

The bad outweighs the good... eventually.
I had a set of Z-5500's. They were great, but bulky as hell. So, I sold those; being impressed with Logitech (I've had a slew of their speakers over the past 10 years) I thought I'd pump out 150ish$ for their GigaWorks 2.1's. I've had these speakers awhile, they sound great, and still do.So, you're probably wondering... WTF is with the 2 star? This damn volume POD, should be labeled as a volume POS. The issue started happening 2 months ago, almost 2 years into my purchase: if the volume on the pod isn't cranked all the way up, the volume randomly goes up and down. We aren't talking a little bit, it's incredibly dramatic, enough to scare the hell out of me at times. I'll set the pod half mass, tunes ablaze, and the sound will dump to a whisper; then WAY up to a blast, then settle back down. It's really bizarre. Now, you're probably thinking... you must have some bogus codec or sound normalization feature running and you don't know it... turn your communications setting to not tranquilize your sound 80%. Trust me, I've done it all. What led me to the realization was after I replaced my Soundblaster ZxR with an HT Omega Claro Halo XT. The whole reason I bought the ZxR is so I don't have to type HT OMEGA CLARO HALO XT all day long. Anyway, bought the Claro, same issue. This volume pod is jacked, I hardly ever used the thing too.Long story short, if you get these speakers and plan to actually use volume pod for whatever reason, it's all or nothing. When I use these speakers, I keep the pod at 100% and manually control the volume VIA Windows. This issue happens when I plug an MP3 player into the pod as well... as the idea just dawned upon me to plug my ipod into it. Cool feature though.EDIT: Just saw the Amazon reviews about dust and dirt in the volume POS knob. Perhaps this is the problem... I'll be taking mine apart and giving her some wonderful sexy dielectric grease. This allows all the dust in the world to accumulate but never effect the integrity of the volume POS. I'll follow up.

Sound good, but a few minor issues
I bought these speakers on sale to replace my old Altec 2.0 speakers.First thing I notice when I plug them in: "Wow, my onboard sound is really bad." Which is actually a really good thing to say about these speakers. If you're looking for something to upgrade your speakers, these are a really good speakers. If you have onboard audio, that will likely be the new limiting factor in your sound quality. Now the negatives: the system issues a horrible electronic noise when you put them in standby (there is no true "off" setting short of pulling the plug) by turning the knob all the way down. In order to keep it from making this noise, I have to leave the volume as low as it will go without going into standby mode. Not a big deal, but if you're the kind of person who doesn't like wasting a few watts, then that's an issue as well. Either way, a standby mode is going to draw some power anyway. The bass on this system is extremely impressive, so much so that I found it to be a little too much (I like to be quiet) I found it best to keep the subwoofer at the lowest possible setting, which still delivers plenty of bass to color the sound and deliver the big low notes.I recently bought the Creative Titanium HD soundcard to put in my PC, I can't wait to hear how these sound when paired with some good sound hardware. I'll update once I find out!
