This is a good overall Dash Cam
I have been using this camera for the past two years almost to the day. I used it in my previous vehicle and now in my new one. It does everything that I need a dash cam to do. To this point it has performed without flaw. Excellent video capture both day and under low light conditions. Likewise the audio quality is very clear. Keep in mind that if one activates audio recording, EVERYTHING you say while it is running is captured. You have been warned. The menu is easy to navigate so that one can set it up to operate in their preferred manner. I use the RoadCam app on my phone, and while it is not perfect it performs sufficiently. The down side to the app is that it does not display the GPS data. If it can, I have not been able to figure out how to do it. This would be handy if one needed to show the speed and direction one was traveling. GPS data IS available by removing the SD card and viewing the video on a PC or laptop. For the price this is a good dash Cam, and when compared to the significantly more expensive cameras I feel like it does just as well. I recommend this dash cam to anyone who needs one and isn't wanting to spend a fortune.

Great, flexible dashcam that will work in cars without ideal viewing angles
Around this time last year I decided to invest in dashcams for the three people living in my house, but only one of those was a dual dash. In the year since, I've decided that was a bad idea and (sadly) to just treat the old ones as a sunk cost and go with two new ones with both front and back cameras. I picked this one in particular because of the rotating lenses, which can allow me to get exactly what I want and go around the passenger side seat, for instance. Because the base also rotates, this can lead to some...interesting angles where the actual screen is facing the top of the car and the lenses can get to even crazier angles, if that's something you need. Other than that, this seems to be a pretty standard dash cam from what I've been seeing. Recording works, pulling video off the sd card works, so I don't really have any complaints there. Video and audio is clean, it'll capture license plates pretty easily (even though you should still always try to say the license plate just in case, if you're in the right mind to after any accident). I've seen another review mention a lack of recording when power is cut, but there is an accessory sold (I think, it says so on the packaging at least) that will solve that. Still, if offline recording in one package is a must, look into this one further and decide if it's right for you. The other thing to note is that this thing is pretty large. I took a picture next to the old dash cam to compare, the screen is pretty much the size of the old one in total. These two things weren't issues for me, but I still like to include them in case they might be for others! For me, this checked the boxes I wanted so I'm very happy with it!

Looks like a great camera
Product looks very Sturdy. And high in quality. Gonna try it out the upcoming weeks/months and we we will see how it holds up. Update: I like the fact that this dash camera doesn’t have a battery In it. All the other dash cams I had in the past came with internal batteries and when the battery went bad the camera stopped functioning properly. And they don’t make it easy to replace the battery. Update 2: week and a half of use. I’ve been using the dash camera for about a week and a half (about 70 hours) so far. It’s worked great. I haven’t had any major issues. There was once when I unplugged the hardwire kit from the mini usb from the dash cam and the camera reset to original settings. Out of 3 times I’ve unplugged it it happened once. I noticed when the screensaver didn’t come on and the camera stayed on without turning off the screen. I I’ve also noticed that when the parking mode activates when I get in the car. And I turn on the car it has trouble turning on the infrared night mode when it’s night time. So I gotta turn on the car quickly before parking mode comes on. Another issue I had today was the camera started freezing as it was recording today it would get to about 1:36 and freeze and stop recording. I think this was caused by me taking out the sd card from the camera. I find it easier to view the videos from my iphone lightning cable to micro sd card reader. No matter what the camera wouldn’t work properly. I tried a bunch of things like formatting sd card and nothing. What fixed the issue is disconnecting it from the power completely by disconnecting mini usb from cam and it fixed the problem. It’s working like the first day I got it again. If you plan on getting this cam make sure you remove the power from it every now and then so it can reboot properly. Even personal computers, androids, and iPhones should be shut off and rebooted every now and then so they can work properly. Sometimes they slow down from being on to long. Update 3. Had to take away a ⭐️. I’ve been using this camera for a little over a month and it’s gone threw about 3 sd cards. Samsung Evo 256Gb Scandisk ultra 128gb Scandisk extreme 256gb. In my previous different old camera I had a Scandisk ultra 128gb and it lasted more then 2 years with 50-60 hours of continuous recording weekly. In this camera the sd cards work fine in the beginning but after about a week or so of use it starts freezing which means the sd card starts failing. Cause as soon as I put in a new sd card it works as it should. I’ve also emailed support about the issue I’m having and they stopped responding. They were responding so well before but as soon as the 30 day return window closed on Amazon they stopped responding. Maybe it’s a coincidence. Or maybe not. Im trying one more sd card. “Samsung pro endurance 256gb”. If this one fails as well I’m gonna give this camera 2 stars. And look into buying another dash cam. I bought my girlfriend a different front and rear dash cam and the first sd card I put in it 128gb worked good and never freezes with no problem. It seems like this camera is picky with the SD cards. I’ll keep you guys posted on how this Samsung Endurance pro 256gb sd card turns out.

Good camera that you can rely on when you need it. I ordered it for second time to my other vehicle.

Doesn't work properly
Don’t buy it. The quality is good, but the recording function doesn’t work properly. I bought it about a year ago When i got into an accident I tried to review the footage, nothing had been saved. The screen showed that it was recording, but it never actually stored the videos.

Just got the camera yesterday and am already disappointed
I really wanted to like this. I spend days evaluating dash cams, looking for a 4K camera tat I could afford that would include both front and inside views, and eventually I settled on this one. My first impressions were mixed - the camera appeared to be an open box/returned item (there was some missing packing material around the camera and all the cables and parts were not wrapped carefully like a factory shipped product would be, the box tab seal was loose and bent looking like it had been opened and the box itself was bent a bit). The box included a nice long power cable and both a stick on bracket and a suction cup mount, both snap easily onto the camera so the comments by others about it not fitting are silly. (They only fit one way, so maybe try turning the mount 180 degrees?) First disappointing thing about the camera itself was the size. I expected it to be large, but this is HUGE and the screen on it is TINY. No touch screen, just the 5 buttons on the bottom of the screen and the power button on the left side. The menu is fairly easy to navigate and the manual (obviously written by a native English speaker) is clearer than most other documentation these days. But my biggest disappointment came after inserting a memory card and adding power to the camera. It will only record both cameras if you are using the front camera in regular HD (1920x1060) mode. If you want anything higher (4K, etc.) then you can only record the front camera and you lose all the inside the car views. On the other hand, it claims to do some very high density still pictures including 12M 4032x3024. However, it requires the camera is plugged into a 12v source because there is no internal battery, so it cannot be carried around easily and you have to navigate through menus to get to that, so I wonder how useful it is. Unless maybe the app makes it easier. And as a final nail in the coffin, the camera will not connect to the TimaCam Android app software. I can connect my cell phone to the wireless network using the standard WiFi screen, but without the app I cannot see anything on the camera’s memory card. And the TimaCam app pops up a warning screen that tells me”[NVT_CARDV5391]is not create by this Application” (that is word for word, I know the grammar is bad but that is what the pop up message says) along with a couple of steps to supposedly fix that problem. However following those steps - including rebooting both the phone and the camera between steps 1 and 2 - does not fix it and I cannot get the app to work with this camera. I will see if I get any help from the seller, but this is probably going back to Amazon.

I've had this dash cam for nearly 5 years the only thing that has messed up on it is the infrared lights for night time use you can see them flashing and they're not supposed to

Clear video, easy to use, zero issues
I thought the picture quality wouldn't be very good due to how awful it looks on the small built-in screen. However, reviewing the footage on my computer, it's two streams of crisp and clear 1080p! Only a month or so after I installed this dash cam, my car was totaled by another driver who rear-ended me at a stop light. The front cam clearly shows traffic in front of me / the red light, while the rear camera showed the other driver looking away to the side instead of the road (and my car) in front of him. The other driver had no dash cam. The other driver later reported the incident to his insurance as a different driver on a different date! However, once I told his insurance agent that I had the dual dashcam videos in 1080p + photos I took on my phone after the accident + the police report (which the other driver didn't send to his agent), they made everything straightforward and covered all of my expenses. Definitely a solid investment! The daytime rear/cabin video makes some gray and off-white colors look purple. However, the nighttime view looks fine, and the front camera is perfect in every way. I wouldn't even call this a "con"; it's just something to be aware of. Works perfectly with 32GB and 128GB SanDisk endurance SD cards.
