Excellent choice
Best scale i've owned and wished i'd purchased sooner. Very accurate and easy to use. Not too expensive for the quality you receive. Dont bother buying the cheaper ones, they arent accurate and not reliable, especially when you are working with gunpowder.

DEFECTIVE KEY PAD INOP BLUE TOOTH
I PURCHASED THIS SCALE ON THE 30TH OF APRIL AND ONE MONTH LATER THE KEY PAD STOPPED WORKING. IT WAS OUTSIDE OF THE RETURN WINDOW SO I CONTACTED FRANKFORD ARSENAL. THEY ADVISED THAT THEY WOULD SHIP ME A NEW SCALE.ON BUT THEY WERE ON BACK ORDER THIS WAS ON 3 JUN. ON THE 17TH OF JUN I HAD HEARD NOTHING SO I CONTACTED THEM AGAIN I WAS ADVISED THAT THEY WOULD BE IN STOCK BY THE END OF THE MONTH AND THAT THEY WERE GOING THROUGH QUALITY CONTROL. I IS NOW THE 28TH OF JUN AND I AM BEING TOLD BY FRANKFORD ARSENAL THAT THEY ARE STILL NOT IN STOCK, NO REASON GIVEN. I HAVE BEEN WITHOUT MY SCALE FOR NEARLY A MONTH AND SHOULD NOT HAVE TO WAIT A MONTH TO GET A REPLACEMENT. DON'T KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS BUT I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT THE DEMAND IS SO HIGH THEY CAN'T IN A MONTH GET ME A REPLACEMENT SCALE. I HAVE DEALT WITH THEM IN THE PAST AND FOUND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE TO BE GOOD BUT NOT THIS TIME. TAKE THIS FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH. IF THE SCALES WERE GOING THROUGH QUALITY ASSURANCE 2 WEEKS AGO WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM. I DON'T BELIEVE I AM BEING TOLD THE WHOLE STORY. TODAY 6/28 I RECEIVED AN EMAIL FROM FRANKFORD ARSENAL ADVISING THE SCALES STILL WERE NOT IN STOCK. IT'S NOW BEEN A MONTH SINCE IT STOPPED WORKING AND I NOTIFIED FRANKFORD ARSENAL. NO DATE AS TO WHEN THEY WILL BE IN STOCK OR WHEN I CAN EXPECT MY REPLACEMENT. I HAVE AND USE MANY FRANKFORD ARSENAL PRODUCTS BUT THIS WILL BE THE LAST ITEM I BUY FROM THEM. IF AMAZON SHOWS THEM IN STOCK WHY DON'T THEY HAVE ANY. THEY NEED TO TELL THE CUSTOMER WHATS GOING ON OR I WILL RETURN THE SCALE TO THEM FOR A REFUND AND BUY AN RCBS. it is now the 12 of jul and still no replacement for my defective intel dropper. first out of stock, next going through quality assurance in stock end of jun, 1 jul still out of stock no idea when or if i will be any assistance from them filling complaint with bbb maybe they can help because it appears frankford arsenal has not interest in helping me. UPDATE IT'S now bee 45 days since i was notified by emiail that an order had been placed for a replacement scale. after numerous emails if and still being told they are out of stock. it seems that midway usa, midsouth shooters supply, amazon and opticplanet all have them in stock. i was advised that the entire order they received failed quaility assurance?????????? i will never buy another thing from them nor will i recommend them to anyone else simply because of their customer service. i have pretty much given up getting a replacement and will be getting the bbb involed FINALLY RECEIVED 2ND UNIT KEY PAD WORKS NO BLUETOOTH . ADVISED THEM AND THEY SENT A 3RD UNIT STILL NO BLUE TOOTH. MY PHONE AND TABLET BOOTH CONNECT TO A FRIENDS INTELLIDROPPER BUT NOT INE. I AM DONE WILL HAVE TO USE IT WITHOUT BLUETOOTH.

A fair and honest first use review
The unit arrived today in good condition. Upon opening the box I observed everything in it's place and appeared undamaged. Everything was wrapped in bubble wrap and/or plastic bags. After inventory (all parts accounted for) I read the directions, put everything together ( which took about 2 mins ), leveled the unit per the instructions, plugged it in, and walked away for 30 mins. All the reviews I read and videos I watched prior to this purchase all said the same thing, LET IT WARM UP before going further or else you risk inaccurate readings. With the instructions in front of me, I downloaded the phone app (no problem connecting bluetooth) started the app, and entered a "new load". Here you will enter details such as powder choice, bullet weight, etc and most importantly the LOAD (gr). I will not go further in to the app because it's pretty straight forward. Now I started the calibration process. Here I came across an error either in the machine programing or the printed instructions. It was written that after you press the CAL key, you would see 50.00 flashing on the display indicating you are suppose to place the 50g weight on the pan. After waiting for it to stabilize, you again press the CAL key and wait for 100.00 to flash before adding a second 50g (100g total). I never got flashing of any kind, so when the 50.00 and 100.00 stabilized, I "assumed" they were suppose to be flashing on moved on in the process. In the end, it calibrated with no issue. Next add the power of your choice and go through the powder calibration. I ran through this process twice just to make sure. This powder calibration basically is a chance for the machine to "learn" the powder you are using and what it it takes to move a certain amount of powder to the pan. OK, now it's time to put it to the test. I choose to set things up for .223 reloads with my powder of choice being Winchester 748 at 26 grains. I set the machine to "auto" ( I discovered this meant that after you remove the filled pan and put the empty pan back on to the scale, it would automatically start filling the next load ). Ready-Set-Go. First drop into the pan, the machine will display "stable" and the process is done. I took the contents of the pan and dumped it onto my trust digital scale - Perfect. Let's try it again. Another pan full goes onto the digital scale - Perfect. I ran through this process for 100 rounds measuring every pan on my digital scale. Results: 98 of the 100 were perfect 26.0 and only two were 0.01 over. Pretty dang good in my eyes. I noticed that since the machine had earlier "learned" my powder, on each measurement it would drop powder until it got to either 25.6 or 25.7 before it paused and then "trickled" the last couple of grains. It did this on every single measurement. Is this thing fast ? Not particularly. I set up my trusty digital scale, got my grain spoon and manual trickler, and raced the machine. It beat me every time by a couple of seconds, but when you load a lot in one sitting, it's nice to sit back and watch rather than the constant "just a little bit more" to get the perfect amount. A suggestion is to wipe the inside of the powder chamber with a dryer sheet to reduce the amount of powder cling on the plastic container. One thing to be careful of is placing & removing the powder pan on the scale. The tube that releases the powder is dead center and just above the pan. You can easily bump the tube and release enough powder grains to effect the total weight, but you will quickly figure out what works for you here. Overall I am happy with it's performance and would recommend it to those looking for some automation in their lives.

Very nice measuring system for reloaders
So far I am enjoying this product. It seems to match up accuracy wise with my other scales, including an old school analog scale. I have seen no more than a 0.1 grain delta between scales. The setup was much easier than I anticipated. First step - plug it in and let it warm up for 15 to 30 minutes. I let mine warm up for about 20-25 minutes. Then while it is warming up - level it off as close as you can get it! Check level each time you use the scale as when you move it around to empty it, etc., the little feet tend to turn. I wish these were a firmer turn so they could stay in place, but it only takes 10 seconds to re-level - so no big deal. Using the power calibration feature is a MUST! It tunes the machine to your powder type. It makes dispensing powder nearly, if not faster, than a powder drop with a manual trickler. This thing is pretty darn accurate when getting down to those last few tenths of a grain. I have not used the app yet, but just using it manually is very fast for a power trickler. I once had a Hornady trickler, but returned it because it would often overtip the scale by 0.1-0.3 grains. It was also not very fast or efficient. This thing is very efficient. Now for the negatives... 1. The lid on the powder hopper is a little snug to get on and off. I wish they would have moulded a bayonet mount or something easier into the lid. 2. The adjustment feet are too loose and don't maintain level when you move the measurer around on your workbench to empty it. 3. The emptying plug is a little bit awkward and cheap. You do spill some powder opening this up to empty the hopper. It is a tough 2 handed operation. 4. I wish it has a metal measuring plate. This one is plastic - which works; but metal seems to indicate higher quality. At the end of the day, I recommend this for reloaders looking for faster, yet reasonably accurate tools for your hand loads. I won't likely use this for pistol loads, but definitely for rifle loads. I don't think it is quite a 'match' quality item, but it does seem to come close when measuring with a variety of scales I own. It is a nice kit and seems to do everything a reloader would want it to do - very quickly.

If it's Christmas use Amazon's return policy for damaged products. (Edited)
So far I'm one of the Unlucky ones that got one that didn't work. I am now on my third phone call with Frankford Arsenal customer service. Every time I've had to hold over 15 minutes and either something comes up or I give up. I know the company wants you to go through them for all their technical problems but I'm about to just use the Amazon's return policy. I must have got one that somebody went all Ace Ventura on this thing because only half of the screen's buttons work and the display looks like an old digital watch thats ran out of batteries. The Box itself looks fine but the product itself is acting like it's been dropped kicked. I really want this product and I really want it to work so I'm going to try one or two more times to get a good one and see what happens but I may have to go with RCBS. I'll change my review as soon as I get a good product or if i get good product. So as I was writing this Frankford Arsenal customer service answered the phone. Perfectly nice gentleman but he essentially told me to use the Amazon return policy as it would be faster than what they could do during Christmas time so I will let you know what happens there. ********************************************************************************************************************************* Ok, got the new one in and it is so much better. Like many things with this kind of price point you may have to do some of the quality control yourself. I'm ok with that. The new one seems to work great. When it comes to loading up test rounds it is going to make things so much easier. LET IT WARM UP! I let it sit out in the cold garage, where I reload, for a couple of hours while I was doing other stuff and it came down from 3.?? grains to almost Zero by the time I got out there. Tared it out and it ran great. It only ever drifted a tenth but was easily zeroed. If your used to digital scales you know that is going to happen and this one is so far the most stable one I have. I compared it to another scale the reads to .02 hundredths and although it was off by a half a tenth, it was off exactly the same every time. Now I can't tell you which one was exactly right, but I can at least tell you it was precise every time. Time will tell how things turn out but for now Im happy and would recommend to anyone that is going to be working up loads. PS. The Bluetooth connection comes up as Dual-SPP. Yeah that makes perfect sense, NOT! That took me min. to figure that one out. SMH they could easily fix that geeeeez.

AWESOME ! I ran a test of 10 Charges set to 18.5 grains. EVERY one was exactly 18.5 !
AWESOME ! One of the reasons I picked this unit was the bubble level and adjustable feet. I was REALLY happy that the unit does a 2 weight Calibration Routine. I was confused at first about why there were two 50 gr weights? Running the Cal operation I found out why. You first use the 50 gr and it does stage 1. Next it asks for the 2nd 50 gr weight for a total of 100 gr on the sensor. REALLY testing linearity of the system ! I ran the Powder Cal routine for my powder. Then ran 10 Charges set to 18.5 grains. EVERY one was exactly 18.5 ! Not a big fan of how the " wind cover" fits so tightly - Not really a negative to me, I don't need to use it anyways!

2nd one, still doesn't work. Sending it back for a 3rd.
1st order from the Frankford Arsenal store via Amazon, the unit could not get stable enough to even calibrate. The Bluetooth functioned though. But could not get it stable enough to even celibate. Submitted refund/ replace request and got the new one 1 day after the request and I mailed my return. Nice. New one arrived today. Bluetooth worked for the first 5 load string but could not reconnect Bluetooth after 20+ times with my phone. Yes I powered off/ on, restarted my phone as well. The second unit DID get stable, DID do powder calibrate well, DID calibrate but the touch screen buttons were horribly inconsistent. I would touch the #2 button and it would register 5. Specifically when wanting to enter say "32.4 grains" it took so long to get the buttons to register with the unit. My phone could not identify the unit from 30' to 2'. Gave up on Bluetooth. Still the touch screen inaccuracy is just horrible. I tried pens with touch screen pads, finger pressure. It took me 2.5 hours to load 60 rounds of 22-250. I can only guess that the Frankford Arsenal Amazon store has a huge stock of poorly QA'd products. Before I try for another return/ replacement I will call Frankford Arsenal tomorrow and see if they have any advice. These 2 machines clearly have a ghost in the machine. I sold my Lyman version 3 a year ago just because of the 30 minute warm up time. I thought that time would improve things and FA said warm up is about 15 minutes. But the old Lyman NEVER had input errors with the old push buttons. If I pushed "1", it always recognized "1". The reviews I have seen are vastly more positive than my experience with these 2 FA units. Otherwise, I bought the FA X-10 press in 9MM, absolutely astounding! I have had 2 FA digital weight measurers, they all gave up the ghost w/in 15 months. My FA digital calipers give up the ghost in a bout 18 months, so now I'm just using analog calipers. From my experience, anything FA digital has been fraught with peril. However the X-10 press has been lights out a stellar experience.

Good customer service
I had to send it back twice because the first one would not hook up to the app and the second one would not even work on the keyboard so I had to send it back but the one I received is working for now

let it warm up for 1-2 hours and keep level and perfectly still.
Works great. Its very important to set it up level on a solid work space that does not move or vibrate at all. I don't do anything else while charging to limit any movement or vibrations. Let it warm up for at least an hour. I turn it on 2 hours before I use it then it holds zero and throws very accurate loads. On average it will only overthrow a load 1-2 times maximum in 100 loads.
