Haven't had the chance to use this with water yet, because they are just now tiling the shower, but what I didn't realize is that this is just the drain piece and does not have the plastic threaded piece that connects the drain to the shower pipe below it. So, unable to find an adapter online or anywhere that fit snugly, we ended up buying the chrome off the shelf drains at Home Depot as well, which we were going to install instead, until we realized that the adaptor/connector pieces from the Home Depot drains fit perfectly. So we paid for 2 drains, this one and one from Home Depot, to get the extra piece we needed to go with it, for each shower. I'm still happy because I was able to keep the brushed brass theme going in the shower, but it was frustrating that it didn't come with everything necessary.

LOVE the way it fits exactly into our 6”x6” porcelain shower floor tile. We are older & our feet are tender especially in showers & tubs with rough drain covers. We recommend this : but did have it professionally installed as we were replacing our entire shower floor. Would love to add a picture but don’t know how!

Don't overlook the specifications! This drain does not come with the adapter that connects to the floor drain pipe. We overlooked this information in the the specs and didn't know about it until we were about to install it. We ended up buying another similar drain from Home Depot in order to get that piece since we couldn't buy it anywhere else! So we spent an additional $40. Still was a bit loose since it does not fit a 2" pipe as specified in the product specs but we taped with white Teflon tape and forced it in there. So just so you know, you need the threaded adapter! Other than that major issue, we are satisfied with the drain for now. We just installed it but we'll see how it works over time.

Ended up buying five of these from the same vendor. Very easy to install and looks beautiful.

Bought this to match the shower system that we also purchased from this brand in the same color. When they arrived they were two very different shades of gold - this being slightly lighter than the much darker shower. No issues with the product itself, but if you're looking to match them - just a heads up...
