Incredibly solid product!
Just got the Tackform mount for my 2018 Yamaha Star Venture and Samsung S-9 (in a thin rubber Speck case). Price: $69 on Amazon. US-based company (Chicago), made in Taiwan. Arrived a day earlier than promised. All parts were there and included clear directions with pictures (even though it's intuitively obvious how to use it). Comes with bushings for the 3 most common diameter bars.Took 10 minutes to put on - two minutes to assemble and 8 minutes of me trying to decide where I really wanted to put it. Opted for right handlebar since a) I'm right handed, b) it's close to the charging ports in the right hand storage box. This thing is SOLID! Very heavy duty feeling, and the spring that holds the clamp closed on my phone is impressive. No worry whatsoever about this phone popping out. However, Tackform includes a rubber sling that you can put on and it secures all 4 corners of the phone. I will use it because a guy named Murphy passed a law that says I ought to use it. 😄As you can see in the pics, there are 2 ball joints with large thumbscrews that essentially allow you to put this phone in any position you want without having to adjust the clamp on the handlebars. I'm starting out with mine in a position that brings it pretty close to me and doesn't block any of the gauges. My near vision sucks, so this will be very nice vs. where I had my phone mounted previously.

Great quality
I was looking for a phone holder that was very sturdy and still looked good on my motorcycle. This fit the bill, and was easy to install.

Great product!!
I bought this is in place of a 67 design holder to attach to my vector accessory bar in my Jeep JK unlimited rubicon. This thing is amazing. Great quality. Bar doesn’t move and the clamp holds the phone very tight. Doesn’t move. I haven’t tested off road yet, but I don’t have any doubt it will stay secured.

Gives You Peace of Mind
Using the smallest bushing, I installed this fine piece of craftsmanship on my CTX 1300 without a problem. This is a great, well-made product. I'm almost shocked at the number of people who have purchased cheap plastic phone mounts - but not really. Most people don't realize that you get what you pay for. If you want quality, then pay for quality. It's really hard to underestimate the intelligence of the American consumer. With that said, I read a review of Tackform's other, shorter mount which is made just like this one. The person said their phone fell out of the mount while riding and they blamed the mount. If you follow the Tackform instructions, I doubt you will have any problems - e.g., if you mount your phone in landscape position, make sure the spring-loaded side of the mount is on top. If you're riding around with a cheap burner phone like the ones used on 'The Wire', then get you a cheap $15 phone mount. But if you're riding around with a phone that cost more than your grandfather's first used car, then you might oughta not wanna lose it. How much would you pay for some peace of mind?

IT'S BY FAR THE BEST!!!
I cannot recommend this mount and the company (because of their customer service) enough. THIS MOUNT IS AWESOME!!! Extremely sturdy, but still easy enough to use one handed putting the phone into or removing (even with gloves on). It comes with the silicone retainer, but I don't use it. It's just not needed, the mount holds the phone extremely well without it. I originally ordered the black, not realizing there was a chrome one (that would match my bike MUCH better). I called their customer service but the order had already shipped. While I was on the phone with her I ordered the chrome one and said I'd return the black one. When she saw the new order (while I was still on the phone with her) she refunded the money for the black one before I even received it (and yes, I did return it). It is a bit pricey, but it'll be the only mount you'll ever buy unless you need two of them.

Yes, I trust $800 "+" phone with just clip tension
After several outings I highly recommend this phone clamp. You can use the included retention band, but unless you are on trails or very rough terrain I don't think you need anything more than the sturdy spring tension. I've stored the extra securing band in my saddlebag but even after many hours of highway cruising and back road riding I have never worried about losing my expensive and very convenient phone. The locking swivel joints are sturdy and don't move once you set them where you want. The metal construction feels solid without feeling too heavy. Overall it feels very well constructed. Now I can have my map, Waze, Calimoto, or other app for quick glance or turn instructions (via bluetooth to Sena S20 intercom) without having to mess with securing to mount or fumbling with a pouch. Now I just need to get some touchscreen gloves or some material to put on pointer fingers. :-).

Look no farther. The ultimate best on the market!
Installed this on my Harley Davidson Tri Glide Ultra. Everything on my bike is custom and now my phone mount is also. Fast shipping, strong good looking product. Do not look past this mount because you want to save money as it is worth every cent to hold my $1,199.00 Samsun phone. All my riding friends are rushing to get one now.

You get what you pay for...
So i bought a few cheaper bike phone mounts prior to this one and returned them as they just weren't sturdy enough. I have a rad rover ebije and ride mostly street or smooth dirt trails, but sometimes get going 20+ mph and hit some bumpy ground fast and hard. The past ones would give out and move in those situations and I fear they could eventually jeopardize my phone. So I finally went with this one and it's rock solid. Not only that but it can be angled in any way easily, and is super quick and easy to load and remove the phone from the cradle. You get what you pay for and you get the best with this one.
