Does it hold an iphone 6 plus?

Yes. In the largest compartment I have my checks (no cover), a small plastic organizer with photos, and my LG G3 which is comparable in size to the Samsung Note 4 & iPhone 6+. I have a cover on it, too, but it's the kind which only covers the back, not both front & back of the phone. In the middle compartment I have my rx sunglasses (no case) & an inhaler. These are the items that usually bump me up into a bigger purse.

Since this has no hard edges or sides to it, this would be nearly flat - supereasy to pack if that's what you're planning. But it holds a ton of stuff!!
