Does it really take 1 to 2 months to ship?

No way! I received my 1/4 acre unit in less than one week, same for my indoor unit.

How are you supposed to mount it 20-40 feet away from traffic areas if the cord is only 8 feet? Is it safe to plug into an extension cord?

Heavy-duty extension cords that are rated for outdoor use can be used if needed.

What bait would go in this trap? I'm noticing 2 different kinds of bait when I try to purchase some but neither state this model number as an option.

no bait. the trap works all by itself. (uv light)

Can the company confirm that the blub is not replaceable? if not, what models do have replaceable bulbs?

The bulb on this model is not replaceable. All of our 1/2-acre and full acre units would have replaceable bulbs. (DT1050, DT1100, DT1260, DT2000XLP, DT2000XL, DT1775, DT1750)
