Let me get this straight. I paid for bluetooth but the bluetooth doesnt work to hear the records on a bluetooth device?

You can not do that. It is a Bluetooth speaker itself.

Does it have speakers built in?

Yes. They aren’t great, but they have a cool vintage sound and get the job done. You can also use good speakers (there is a port for them).
