Good and reliable
I bought 6 of these to try and survive the drought with my trees I planted this year along with landscaping/grass replacement. We are in the country so don't have super great pressure. I also bought a bunch of 25' hoses to interconnect. Originally I had hooked up 3 per line and hoped to move them throughout. This worked ok but the distance wasn't that great. Later this summer I switched by chance to just 2 active at the same time and the difference in throw was profound. I wound up doing three zones with 2 sprinklers running and that was much more efficient than 2 zones with 3 sprinklers. This varies with about 100' of hose before the first but was fairly consistent with a run of only 25' before. They are lightweight Plastic but have held up with being lightly tossed around and moved multiple times each watering - even the connections. The amount of positions you can control is also a huge plus. The only thing I wish it featured would also be an oscillating rotation to do 360 coverage but it hits a great amount with what it does offer and you can control the pressure, spray pattern (straight vs diaganol) and easily spin it to the direction you want manually. I'd easily buy more of these - even if they happen to break down over time (time will tell). I did get what I thought was a bad connector on one of the 6 - but turns out I had both the white and black rubber washer in so that was the real problem (user error).

Buy This Sprinkler!
Omg this is exactly what I have been searching for all these years. I have 2, 78 feet long by 6-8 feet wide side yards to my house 1 of which is where my back porch is so it's nice to look out to a green lawn. I also have a huge backyard and a nice square front yard. Well let me tell you this thing does it all! I will be ordering a second to get my watering done a lot faster. I started my journey of sprinklers when I bought my house and began with a cheap impact sprinkler I always liked hearing chik-chik-chik-tsssssss while enjoying coffee on a warm summer morning. Problem was even though this impact sprinkler you could configure the height and spray turn radius it could never effectively cover the side yards and even in the front and back needed moved multiple times. I then went with a more high end impact like sprinkler but worked off gears. Which made patterns much easier to control but still failed at the side yards. I then got a cheap 3 sprinkler head watering system for the side yards. The 3 sprinkler system would only cover about 10-15 feet of that 78 feet at a time so I would have to go move them every 15-20 minutes which took up my whole day. The plastic spikes also broke quickly requiring a duct tape fix which leaked everywhere and was a pain to set up. I then decided it was time to try the soaker hose trick so I had an old hose, which I hit with the lawnmower, cut it in half drilled some holes in it and put a wine cork at the end to force pressure. It worked well however some holes would face downward which would cause more of a river to flow over into my neighbors yard instead of getting full coverage. Even the ones facing upwards would give spotty coverage at best. Enter the minimax turbo setup was a breeze and after messing around with the configurations to understand how it worked I was able get it in the right spot to cover 80% of my side yard in about 3 minutes the other 20% is just more side yard that It couldn't quite reach. I was able to adjust the spray pattern to the perfect width of that piece and it's working as expected. My only concern is that the adjustments for the width seem to be a little cheap and I am afraid they might break or stop working. However my adjustment is almost all the way closed so I think I could make it work if that happened.

I highly recommend the Melnor 65003-AMZ MiniMax, left a positive impression on me
I recently had the opportunity to try out the Melnor 65003-AMZ MiniMax Turbo Oscillating Sprinkler, and I must say, it left a positive impression on me. This watering set is not just your ordinary sprinkler. It comes with a QuickConnect Product Adapter and is designed to be used on a base, adding convenience and versatility to your watering routine. First and foremost, let's talk about the performance of this MiniMax Turbo Oscillating Sprinkler. It features a turbo motor that provides consistent water distribution, even when dealing with low water pressures. This means you can trust it to effectively cover a large area of your lawn without any dry patches. The oscillating spray pattern is another highlight of this sprinkler. It has a wide coverage area, thanks to its 4-way adjustment, enabling you to water rectangular or square-shaped lawns with ease. I found the spray to be evenly distributed, ensuring that every corner of my lawn received sufficient water. One of the standout features of the Melnor 65003-AMZ is the QuickConnect Product Adapter. This adapter allows you to connect and disconnect hoses effortlessly. It's a time-saver, especially if you frequently switch between different watering tools. The adapter is also compatible with other Melnor products, making it a versatile addition to your garden tool collection. The inclusion of the base is a thoughtful addition by Melnor. It provides stability to the sprinkler, preventing any accidental movements or topples when it's in use. This is particularly useful when dealing with uneven or sloped terrains. The base is sturdy and well-built, ensuring the sprinkler stays firmly in place throughout the watering session. In terms of durability, the Melnor 65003-AMZ impresses. The sprinkler and base are made from high-quality materials that are designed to withstand regular use and exposure to the elements. I appreciated the solid construction, as it gave me confidence that this product will last for a long time. Overall, I highly recommend the Melnor 65003-AMZ MiniMax Turbo Oscillating Sprinkler with QuickConnect Product Adapter Watering Set, On Base. It delivers excellent performance, easy assembly, and hassle-free operation. Whether you have a small or large lawn, this sprinkler will make your watering tasks a breeze.

I now have two of these from separate seasons and no issues
Love these sprinklers because they are compact yet cover a large area. Unlike pulsating sprinklers, they do not vaporize the water as much so you don't lose as much to the wind. It is also significantly more quite in operation than a pulsating sprinkler. It puts out a nice strong stream that provides great coverage for the size and the adjustability is great. You can shape it for any rectangular space to get just the right spray pattern without over watering or wasting water on your driveway. But look folks, it's made from a mid-weight plastic; if you want it to last, be gentle with it! Don't drag it along the ground. Don't drop it. Use your common sense. Drain it and put it away for winter once freezing temperatures descend. I only ordered one two seasons ago based on some of the reviews. That one held up perfectly fine and continues to function flawlessly. Ordered another one this year because this sprinkler is so versatile. These are great sprinklers and a great value given how much coverage you get from one of them. Highly recommended.

Great product w/ caveats
I bought this for the strong reviews and the range of adjustments to width and length of the spray. This little bugger delivers. The adjustment mechanisms make crisp clicks to lock in the range at which your spray is cast. As usual with an oscillating sprinkler, if you want to make adjustments on the fly, you're gonna get wet. There are some things I would change, but for performance vs. price, this is top value. After my experience with this model, if one came out in steel, I'd pay a lot for it. Keep in mind this product is 100% plastic. Because of this, I recommend some precautions. Be patient threading your hose into the entry valve, don't force or cross thread it. Also, be careful with the pressure. I live in a low-lying area of my town, and my water pressure is 85lbs at the meter where it enters my house. I had to dial the water pressure down at the spigot. Maybe I was too conservative, but the max front-to-back spray was about 35'. Max L-R is about 25'. It will take me forever to water in grub treatment, but I'd rather have a reliable little trooper like this sprinkler than one that sprays 80' but doesn't really water well. UPDATE: I've been using this for a couple weeks now, and it developed what I thought was a leak where the sprinkler head attaches to the base. I started a return, then discovered (or, actually, re-learned) that the head is threaded into the base. It was loose, so that's probably where my leak is. I screwed it back in securely. It just rained here, so it will be a few days before I try it out. AGAIN: MAKE THIS IN STEEL, and I will pay a premium for it. In fact I will get four and daisy-chain them together!

It is Amazing ...
I hope it doesn't start to leak as I just read in a few reviews, because I love this sprinkler for numerous reasons. First, it is the only sprinkler I've owned that is working great after a couple months. Most last less than a week with me. Without reading any instructions, it is very simple to use (and much better than my neighbor's fancy in ground system that last weekend sprayed for 32 hours straight and would still be spraying had I not contacted the landscape company since she did not respond to my contacts as her water bill just kept escalating). This can be turned on the base to point in whichever direction you want. You can adjust the force, control how much water comes out each side (to avoid hitting cars driving by) ... you easily control how far it goes forward and backward (as opposed to those where you turn the knob on the side that stops working after a short time). As I said, it's very simple, forceful, easy to control ... and it still works after a couple months. I love it.

Great for watering manually odd-shaped spaces, very small to larger lawns. Width settings are awful
The sprinkler is very light, but still very stable when operating. The settings for the strength of the spray and the oscillating range are simple and effective. However, the settings for the width of the spay are very flimsy and dont work very well. One side doesn't work at all, the other one has either narrowest and widest settings. The intermediary notches are slipping and don't stay in place. This is not a major issue for my purpose, but if you want to adjust the width, you might run into troubles. Also, the construction of the sprinkler is completely in plastic, so I can foresee some fragility. I am careful to grab the sprinkler by its feet and not by the hose attachment. I added a simple mechanical timer to the sprinkler and the whole solution is very convenient for me. I water upon needs very odd-shaped small lawn areas because the in-ground drop tubing is not enough.

Awesome sprinkler
We have a 3 foot wide garden, and I was shocked that it could adjust it to accommodate that! I bought 2 of them, lined them up, and they cover the whole 43 feet in length! Very pleased with these!

lo he usado apenas 3 veces

Not suitable for narrow strips
No, this is not what i was expected.I intended to use the narrow strip in my home garden (20 cm wide and 4 meters long). However, when I positioned it in the middle, it did not reach 2 meters on each side.โ

This is a great small sprinkler!
Very easy to use and is great for small or large areas. If you are just doing large areas I would buy a more sturdy one, but this is very easy to control and works great.

GREAT FOR LOW PRESSURE
Only used this twice and already can see the benefits. I have one thin strip of grass no more than a 1.2m wide, so easy to adjust the Melnor mini max turbo to accommodate. My back yard is 16m long and 6.5 wide, this thing does it in 2 goes, flow is easily controlled from the tap and the adjustment is easy. Great Sprinkler, even if it's a little on the expensive side. Worth the money.
