ordered this o-ring (2 in package) for whirlpool whcf-dwhv whole house filter that I purchased in 2005. it was a perfect fit with no leaks. the old ring had gotten a little stretched and was difficult to get to lay flat when I'd put a new filter in. that led to leakage a couple different times...I'd like to add a tip for installing new filters. when you turn the control back to the "filter" position, only turn slightly at first. let the housing fill up slowly and completely, maybe taking a minute or more. this will prevent air in the system and sediment from kicking up in your pipes. otherwise, you'll need to bleed the air out at the tub or other source that doesn't have a screen (faucets).

Fits my whole house filter housing perfectly. Inexpensive way to extend the life of your filter assembly because the o ring is one of the first things to go. Seals well with no leaks.

What I Expected.

These worked perfectly for our whole house water filter. Living in a rural area, we have trouble finding parts or filters. These solved the problem and I will order again if needed.
