Fatima's Garden Argan Oil Black Soap - Exfoliating Cleanser, 250g

While the item was being, the seller sent an email letting me know it was on it's way. Super thoughtful, imo, and an awesome customer service touch. I'm familiar with African Black soap but not Morrocan Black soap. I read up on MBS and decided to purchase. I dug the philosophy of this company and went with getting my first order of MBS with them and was impressed. I do my own makeshit hammam situation at home lol. Even bought some kessa mitts. If u aren't familiar with a hammam bath, pleaseeee look into it. It's soooo worth it. I'm just missing the rhassoul clay and argan oil rubdown at the end. Lol. The soap is a thick, jelly like consistency that is green. Has a slight scent - nothing bad, though. Smells like what it is. My skin looks bomb lol. It's clearing up lil marks and smoothing my skin out. I always feel so luxurious after I do my at home hammam. The kessa mitts are life. I hid mine in my home, as I don't want anyone using MY mitt to slough of dead skin on THEIR ass... Lol. When I finish, I rub a good shea butter or oil into my skin and feel all lady like. Lol. I really love this soap and will order again. The quality, customer service and price are unbeatable. They even sent a code for $ off my next purchase. Really dope. 😊

If it’s your first time using Moroccan black soap, you are going to be pleasantly surprised. This soap is very moisturizing in a non greasy way and will leave your skin soft, especially with the use of a Kessa glove for exfoliation, which is how I’ve used it. The soap is a thick paste (jelly like), but easy to use. A little goes a long way here. I will advise that it’s not like typical soaps you find here in the states that are foamy and fragrant. You may notice that the natural smell is strong, like oil but this isn’t because the product is rancid, it’s just the natural smell. I was concerned on this too and reached out to the seller. Hassan was wonderful with his quick responses, went above and beyond to check the batch/product number to assure me this was a recently made product. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to them. I’m very pleased with how soft my skin has been with once a week use and it has helped clear a spot of eczema on my elbow and ankle.

This company is so amazing! I have very sensitive skin and it didn’t irritate me at all. I was so clean afterwards! With the help of a kessa, of course! Their products are so clean and well sourced. After speaking with the manager at the company about restocking, it’s obvious how much they care about their customers, their community, and their products. I have researched SO many other brands and I believe this company is the most transparent and caring when it comes to their products! I also ordered their aker fassi and prickly pear oil. I’m very happy with both of those, as well.

This is a very nice, traditional Beldi soap. The eucalyptus, when combined with the nice steamed up air in the bathroom does well in opening up my sinuses. Those who don't care for eucalyptus should try out Fatima's other black soap, which doesn't include that ingredient. The soap lathers just enough to make application easy and a little bit goes a long way. I let this sit on my skin for about 10 minutes before rinsing and then thoroughly exfoliating with a kessa glove. I'm very pleased with the results. My skin is super smooth, and this combo of black soap and kessa glove has even managed to rid me of the small little bumps on my arms that drive me bonkers. I have very picky, sensitive skin and this product doesn't irritate it at all. Another plus. It's also a very moisturizing soap that doesn't dry out my skin or leave behind any odd residue. I recommend this to anyone who is curious about the benefits of the traditional Hammam/Turkish bath ritual, and also to folks who suffer from dry and sensitive skin. It's worth every penny.

The picture for advertising is very misleading. Thats why it’s important to read kids. Had au done so, I would of been able to see what I was getting for the amount. Only used once, and have to learn how to use it better as time goes on, but from first impression it’s going to do what needs to be done! My skin felt much softer afterwards. A little goes a long way, and for that reason the size for the value is fair in my opinion. Take your time applying and start with minimal product: it is slippery as well, so you don’t want most of it to end up down the drain. I can understand why someone may feel as though its made with petroleum because of the smell, but if you’re only use to using products with heavy artificial perfumes then this may not be to your liking. I will be back to update after sometime.

This stuff is amazing!! Pure, non irritating, and holy moly does it work well prepping for exfoliation! The texture does take a bit to figure out how to work with but that’s the nature of this soap. A very little goes a long way! I also appreciate they are a small, woman owned business! Keep up the good work and I’ll be back to buy more!

In my opinion this is authentic black Moroccan soap. You use it before exfoliating. Make sure to soften skin in warm/hot water for at least 15 minutes. Then use this soap. Then exfoliate with a specific Moroccan exfoliation glove (can google it ). The smell is nice and not too strong. Left my skin so soft !

If you’re looking for a regular soap, then this works as a basic body cleanser. However, it does not exfoliate the skin like traditional Moroccan soap does. It doesn’t remove dead skin or give the deep exfoliation effect many people expect. If your goal is exfoliation and removing dead skin, this product will be a big disappointment and a waste of money.

This black soap doesn’t smell like black soap, it’s very small in size, and doesn’t worth the price very overpriced dry out my skin not a fan of this product period👎🏽

i got sent the wrong item, i ordered the blue nila soap and got sent the eucalyptus version however after contacting the store directly, they immediately sent me the correct product; overall the product is great and the brand really cares to make it up to the customers for the mistakes and to ensure that in the end you get what you paid for

Great product, very natural. Feels, smells just the same as in Morocco.
