I Spy a School Bus (Scholastic Reader, Level 1)

This book is perfect for my three-year-old. She loves to go through it and find everything, and then also tell me what else she sees on each page. It's perfect for her age!

I expected this to include lots of buses. Nope. Most of the book is about other random things. I wanted to return it, but the optional methods didn’t include Kohl’s like most returns. Very disappointed.

My grandson, who currently loves buses, has really enjoyed this book!

We enjoyed spying for objects. Wished all the pages were I Spy objects in the picture as the last few pages were I Spy words, not as much fun as my autistic son lost interest there. Also, I was hoping for more School Bus hunting. You only spy a school bus on one page. The title was a little misleading.

I bought this for my 4 year old who loved the big "I Spy" book we borrowed from the library. While he enjoys reading this book, and it has the bonus of providing pictures of what to search for making it possible for him to do alone, it's way too simple for him. The book is smaller and easier than I expected. Nonetheless, I am sure it will be well loved. I just wish there was more of a stepping stone between this and the regular "I Spy" books which do require reading.

So cute to read with my Grandkids at night. Great picture sequence to learn vocabulary, the pictures are cute and colorful. I added my own take as we explore the book. Great job.

Great little books, much younger than I thought even for level 1. But still keeps their attention for a bit.
