Being pretty inexpensive, wasn't sure how well this would work - however no problems so far! I had a portable power pack that died, so I took it apart and determined some of the 18650 cells were bad. After seeing which ones would still charge, I found that I had enough to make a smaller but just as useful battery bank.I should have measured a little more accurately, the spacing was off a bit, but close enough that a little trimming got it to fit within the battery holder frame. I used a cheap spot welder https://amzn.to/3EtqjIQ powered by a 16000 mAh LiPo battery I had and was able to tack the nickel strip to all the batteries quite nicely. Mind you, this is not for the faint of heart, or those with unsteady hands - spot welding batteries with this setup is risky business. Wear safety glasses and be very careful with placement of the electrodes.I added in a BMS https://amzn.to/3XRhijW and I was in business!So far, so good - the nickel strip is doing what it's supposed to.

Welds well, no issues with spacing tolerance over long runs, and wires solder to it easily. Not using it for any super high current applications (~35A max) but no issues at the level I'm using it at.

Not Pure Nickel but works well for low power spot welding 18650s.

these arent rusted. they work well. you could solder with them

I bought it knowing it was not pure Nickel, it attaches itself to magnet, it is precisely made and i had no problem using it. I would buy it again.

It's a very well made product comes nicely in a roll and boxed.

Arrived in less than 24hours and was placed neatly.
