Hi Crystal.....I kept this product following the directions and it didn't color my hair to the product color. I use hair color to cover my gray and it only made it to a slightly dark brown color. I normally keep hair color on for at least 1 1/2 - 2 hours to make sure it penetrates my hair shaft, but this product was running down my face and neck because of the plastic cap you're supposed to wear. Even after taking the cap off after 5 minutes, the dye kept running and I had to jump up every 3 minutes to wipe it off so it wouldn't drip on the floor and the weather was still pretty cool, so I can't blame it on spring/summer heat. Maybe you would have better luck with it, but I would suggest you sitting on a drop cloth or tarp to limit the mess.

Again, it is not permanent and does not chemically change the texture of any hair type, like permanent haircolor does.

This is what I got as a leave in conditioner, I have no idea what that is, a little piece of pink stuff and hard. Very disappointing.

Hands down my favorite gentle dye, that actually deep conditions your locks.

I've been using this off and on for years and the end result is always distinct but subtle, gentle on relaxed hair, and very conditioning. The conditioning packet included is the best thing ever, and i wish they sold it separately in stores. Bottom line, you won't be disappointed.

Ebone Brown D&L hair color

I absolutely love this color on me. I've been using this for over 5 years. Dark & Lovely has decided to discontinue the color and the entire same day perm and color line. I'm so heart broken...but somehow Amazon has gotten a hold of some extra boxes of this color lying around somewhere and I'm going to buy it out until it's gone! Thank you Amazon!😁
