I’d never found underwear I particularly liked and mostly put up with baggy boxers because all the other form fitting styles I tried didn’t have a functioning fly and/or were just too confining. Then I became intrigued by this separate pouch idea, with some hesitation from their unaccustomed revealing nature. That hesitation went away the moment I slipped them on. Why I Love This Design: I wasn’t seeking an artificial bulge and was quite pleased with how well their raised inner seam lifts the separate pouches to subtly accentuate size, shape and features, with an uncanny freedom of inside movement that doesn’t overtly add to the visibility outside. I wasn’t looking for athletic style support either, and was unsure of the boxer freedom I might be surrendering. What I found instead was an unconfined feel of things being comfortably in their place in a way that draws me back every day. Spontaneous occasions was not an expected review topic, but the difference with these is just too good to leave out. While some may object to the more confining nature of anything but boxers, it’s how these outer pouches proactively manages the occasion that really sets them apart. Being separated from leg openings is a welcome contrast to boxers that can hang you up or single pouches that squeeze you in. These are a generous pouch stretchiness instead that comfortably expands enough to maintain a least conspicuous relaxed position that virtually eliminates need for adjustment. Why Size Matters: What makes this design work as well as it can begins with the convex lower pouch that’s placed slightly above the body-hugging inseam to gently lift and pleasantly cradle things away from the legs. Next, everything is separated for a complimenting look and a freedom of movement not typically found with body hugging styles. The separate outer pouch fly acts more like a hood that’s easily slipped into and easily accessed by lifting the fabric end. All of this is then brought together with a proper match of their size to yours. Once size can’t fit all with most any pouch design though Separatic does offer some “larger pocket space” versions (as found on the item listing among dropdown photo descriptions to the left of the headline). The only size differences within a lineup then are waist sizes. While this works well for a fit within the lower pouch, accommodating the varied sizes inside the upper pouch becomes relative to how tightly or how loosely it's pulled against the body. Some snugness is always needed against the abdomen, rear and around the legs to avoid ride-up and wedging, and to keep everything in place. Too much snugness can cause cumbersome access and even squeeze you out of the fly, particularly when sitting down. Too loose compromises the form flattering upper pouch look, can get things lost fumbling through excess fabric and even allow things to fall through the lower pouch leg opening. To restate what the manufacturer mentions, the lineup size out-of-the-box should fit well for those midway in a size range, with a near average build and a near average relaxed length. For others, the fabric and waistband is stretchy enough to comfortably choose one waist size difference to accommodate a larger or smaller body build and/or relaxed length – particularly with the Separatec. With this slender frame reviewer, an in-between size 31” waist and average length meant that mediums always worn in other styles are a bit loose with the Separatec making a smaller size needed instead. If particularly endowed, it would be the mediums for the looser pouch. A larger build/relaxed length would have called for a size up – and so on. To that end, all should function ideally with a waist size snugness where a fully relaxed length end comfortably fills to a grazing of the pouch end. David Archy vs Separatec: Trying each product confirms other reviewer findings that the difference between brands is basically the fabric. With that, the thicker and less stretchy David Archy modal provides its subtle forward enhancement, with no conspicuous uncovering through even the thinnest suit or casual pants. Meanwhile the Separatac is all about a silky smooth stretchiness to allow a dual pouch following of the inner-thigh feel (and thinner pant reveal) of wearing nothing at all. All the positive reviews set very high expectations for me. When I first put these on, I did not immediately think that the Gates of Heaven had been opened. They were comfortable, but I didn't rank it as unbelievable. I did, however, pretty quickly realize they make you constantly aware of your manhood taking center stage. Literally, front and center at all times. It's a notable sensation of prominence. If you're accustomed to your member squished to the side, or pointing north, or twisted all around, these give you a very different vibe. My berries are larger than average, and their dedicated pouch is comfortable, much more lazy afternoon hammock than jockstrap restrictive. When I first looked at the member's only porthole, I was concerned it was going to give me a tourniquet kind of sensation. So far, that hasn't happened. I simultaneously feel free as a bird, but also safely confined to my nest. It wasn't until I went back to a pair of my previous drawers, Hollister boxer briefs, that I fully appreciated the Separatec design. Immediately the whole old school trio mishmash struck me as some uncontrolled chaos compared to the dual pouch separation. I realized how often manual adjustment is needed. The Hollister pouch design was a huge step up from any other brand that came before, but I think I'm now a full convert to the two pouches of Separatec. I will say the shorter trunks do ride up the leg a bit in the back but they are so thin and soft it really isn't noticeable even with pretty snug fitting pants. Still, my next order is for the longer leg boxer briefs plus a pack of the athletic briefs. I didn't realize until day two that there is actually an access port between the twig pouch and berry pouch for when you need to make water. Helpful. I can honestly say this is the priciest underwear I've ever purchased. But after trying the first 3-pack, the next orders were also the easiest underwear buying decision I ever made. FYI, my lady approved of the look and feel. Always a bonus. I'm a size 32-34 in pants, typically size medium in underwear. Separatec size medium was just right for me.

These were pretty good for a while. They're made of a jersey like material that was passable but after a number of washes they got less comfortable. Sizing is spot on. Their newer products are much improved.

First and foremost, if you're the type to walk around your house in boxers, know that you will not be on Full Display! The boxers took about 2-3 days of getting used to. I figured I'd constantly feel the hole of the pouch throughout the day, but honestly once I had the boxers on I didn't even notice it even when I tried. When wearing, it basically feels like you're not wearing anything beneath your pants while at the same time getting support and marginally lifting your stuff just off of your leg. Additionally the fabric is thin enough to allow your skin beneath to breath very very well. Regardless of size, the pouch is VERY stretchy and quite comfortable about it. The bulge's obviousness will vary based on how thick or heavy the pants are. Barely anything can be noticed with jeans, but with lighter pants it becomes more obvious. When wearing just the boxers, this is even more noticeable due to the short legs. The fly is functional, but you'll have to re-teach yourself to use this style. It is strange at first, but again, after 2 or 3 days you'll figure it out and won't have to think about it. The "fun" comes when you decide to switch back to normal boxers with a fly. For those wondering the boxers are still comfy if you decide not to use the pouch. That is also to say that if you happen to fall out of the pouch, the boxers will still be comfy to wear. Falling out can occur if you attempt to pull the legs of the boxers down and inadvertently pull them down too far. You'll definitely need a trip to the bathroom or other private space to re-fill the pouch. In short, the learning curve is short and wearing them is surprisingly far more comfortable than I'd ever imagine. And while I definitely would not wear them with gym shorts or dress pants, I do think they can be quite comfy in other aspects of my life.

If you're even thinking about purchasing a pair of these...just do it... I've spent a lot of time trying different types of underwear. Boxers, Briefs, Boxer-Briefs, Trunks, Thong...I've tried ALL of them and they all have the exact same problem. My beans are mashed up with my frank! I'm sure that these would be comfortable if I didn't have a penis and testicles, but I do...I very much do. Having a separate pouch for my penis feels like a dream! Everything is pushed OUT and UP so that everything feels cradled all day long. *Chefs Kiss* I was a little worried about the durability of the material as Bamboo tends to lose its elasticity quickly, but that's just not the case here. At the end of the day they may be slightly less taut...but once they've been through the wash, they spring back to life. Not a big issue at all. One thing that really needs to be addressed though is that these are going to make your package look bigger. This isn't always a good thing really. I own a few pairs of pants that are a little tight, and when I wear these, it's kind of obscene. That might be a selling point for some of you, but I think it's worth mentioning. It looks like you're wearing nothing, but everything is "front and center". A literal push-up bra for our bits. Yeah..I ordered a set of 3 and after the first day of wearing them, I ordered more. These are the only underwear that I wear now. I'm ruined...

My first introduction to Separatec was with the model pictured above (green) with the seams going across the leg. While that version did ride up like every boxer brief I've ever tried from any brand (Kirkland, CK, 2xist, Zombailon) it was so soft it didn't cause irritation plus I was use to ride up. My scrotum fit perfectly in the pocket as well as my other part in the other pocket. The first wear was very natural and I knew this was how I wanted my briefs going forward, but I didn't like the seams across the side. When I saw this new style (red) I thought it was the same but without the seams and I was excited. Once I got it I noticed the material felt softer and unfortunately that is where the pros stop for me. The issue is it rides up and rubs against the top of my scrotum so I'm not fitting in the pocket correctly and the seams the go along the sides of the scrotum are a little more rough. I lined it up with the other style and I was correct its actually smaller than the other style. I took a photo for others to see and determine if its right for them. I'm 6' 230lbs so I'm heavier set and while the overall size fits perfect, the narrower and shallower cut seems to be the difference why I dont fit in the pocket comfortably. My guess is for guys who are fit and in shape the difference in cut probably won't make a difference, but for heavier set guys its narrower and shorter than the other style pictured above will make it ride up and possibly rub creating discomfort like it did for me. It would be odd to try and return used underwear, but I think I might try an exchange and try their new omso tech material.

My junk is comfy. I read other comments saying their johnson pulled out of the banana hole if they say down or bent over or something. I haven't had that issue. My guy goes into that little banana hole and has his own little apartment. I was iffy about the flap that goes over that banana hole, but seems to do it's job just fine. The only downside is that since the design of this thing keeps the banana front and center, if he stands at attention there's nowhere to go but up and forward. Not really any side to side room. It quickly stretches the little banana pouch to it's limits and forces a pretty severe bulge at the front, rather than keeping it against and along the leg. So, if you're well endowed and you are prone to random grand standing then you might find yourself in some precarious situations. All in all, I'm very satisfied with these and I'll be getting more. The segregation of the banana and the bag of nuts from the rest of the swimsuit area works perfectly. No more sticking and fixing constantly. Everything has its own home.

I spend a lot of time in a wheelchair and on hot days things get… uncomfortable. These things keep everything nice and dry and out of the way. The eggplant and avocado’s appear to go in the same place, although the directions say that they are kept apart. It doesn’t bother me and somehow it seems to work! The fabric is light and airy, although I wouldn’t mind some that were a bit thicker for warmth

I've been wearing these pair for a little over a week now and I'm really glad I did. There's a lot of thought put into 'male comfort' compared to a lot of other underwear brands I've tried in the past. They don't feel too hot nor cold and the tag in the back is designed to be ripped off (no scratching or rubbing). There's a flap in the front that allows you to urinate without pulling the underwear down, kind of like traditional briefs. This is a big upside compared to other underwear that has a pouch or 'keyhole' in the front. I think the only minor downside is that they started to ride up the thighs with exercise or prolonged use, meaning I had to readjust a couple of times awkwardly. Other than that, I love these and will be buying more for sure!

This is genius. I immediately bought more incase I could find it again in future. Has pouch to support sagging and another pouch for member with easy flip up fold for bathroom break.

Waistband is narrower and not as strong as the previous purchase.

Very soft and fits well. I didn't know how much I needed these until I spent a day in them. Never going back to regular boxers
