Dakine Travel Sleeve

Another fine product from Dakine! Last time I traveled by air, I had trouble keeping up with tickets, boarding passes, pocket money, ID, credit cards, etc., juggling carry-ons, jacket and shoulder bag, trying to dig stuff out for TSA, flight attendant, rental car agent, etc. This Travel Sleeve is Just. What. I. Need! Best part is, when it arrived, the sticker said $25, but I only paid $11.23 through the Amazon vendor.Like all Dakine products, this is well-made, with attention to all the right details. It's well-finished, with the fabric aligning as it's supposed to, and the trim is even and well-sewn. The name patch is suede-y "jeans label" material, and attached firmly. The graphics are nice; I'm not much of a "sportsman," but the little pine tree, fish, and flying bird are understated against the navy background.The zipper appears to be sturdy, and has a nice, matching nylon pull for ease of use when you're fumbling with other luggage. The zipper, itself, is a YKK, and operates easily, all the way around. On the back of the Sleeve, there's a handy, mesh pocket. The mesh is very fine. I was afraid it was going to be the large-weave type of mesh, with lots of little holes to get corners of cardboard tickets caught on, but it's more like very fine screen. Just the right size to slip your boarding pass in!The nylon outer shell seems durable, with a nice, heavy-duty, nylon mesh (kind of like seat belt material) spine for durability.On opening the product, the nylon lining is tan (which contrasts nicely with the navy on the outside!). There's a deep pocket, a shallow pocket, and a mesh pocket (same "screen" material as on the outside) on the right side. The mesh pocket has a Velcro closure tab, with a handy, nylon pull-tab, for quick opening. The other two pockets are not velco-secured, but are open. Loose enough to get paper/passports into, but tight enough to keep them secure.On the left are 5 shallow credit card pockets, and one deeper pocket. Below, is a side-zipped (YKK again!) mesh pouch that's perfect for loose change. Behind all the pockets is another side-zipped pocket, for bills, receipts, or whatnot. And behind that is yet another side-accessible pocket that runs the width of the Sleeve. It's open and not zippered or velcro-secured.On the interior spine is a handy pen loop.The Sleeve isn't crushable -- I believe there's a cardboard stiffener to keep the unit rigid.All the seams are uniform, well-sewn, and the zippers are all even, work smoothly, and without stray threads or frayed ends poking out.As a happy surprise, as I was manipulating the Sleeve to inspect it, I just found another deep pocket on the right side, behind the passport pocket! There are 14 pockets in this monster!!At this price point, the Dakine Travel Sleeve can't be beat for appearance, durability, convenience, and utility. I would buy this product all over again. It arrived as-promised from the vendor, appropriately packaged. Love. This. Product!

I ordered this to replace my wallet/purse. It's perfect, fits everything I need, money, credit cards, check book, change, a few pieces of mail, stamps, chapstick, nuun tablets, gum, keys, even my Samsung Note 4, & fits in the side pockets of our diaper bag, or the top outer pocket of my suit case. Has been a great transition!

Used this for traveling to Disney - kept all my documents secured and in one place. I'mma use it to store all my car information now that my vacation is over.

It's exactly what I needed now I have all matching da kine bags. Has bunch of pockets and 2 zip compartments came quick also.
