Creative SBS A355 2.1 Multimedia speaker

It has always been a pleasant experience shopping with Amazon, so hats off to you guys!Now coming to the review, i only received the product today itself. And soon after unboxing and all that, i plugged in to my phone to test the speakers. One thing ---- "simply amazing". The price for which they offer such speakers is really interesting. And then i pucked them into my laptop. Believe me, the speakers and the subwoofers were like throwing punches here and there, might be due to the onboard soundcard which is why they sounded so good on my laptop compared to the phone.It lacks a much needed Usb port, other than that everything's perfect at a price of Rs. 2400.A must buy for anyone looking for a compact, superb and exquisite set of speakers.A definite yes for me!Way to go Amazon.Way to go Creative.

First, the speakers look awesome... no doubt Creative design is good, but the audio quality also matters a lot.This is my first product from Creative & frankly I am not much impressed with the sound. It should have been much better given that it comes from a brand like Creative. For this price range Logitech offers louder speakers i.e 30W (total output rms power) as compared to SBS A355's 21W.I thought even with less power, Creative speakers would offer more clarity & better bass response. However, the sub-woofer output isn't thunderous/thumping or anything extraordinary. Hmmm...disappointmentIn my opinion, given the price range, better get a nice branded headphone or earphone. Should serve you better.Edit: After using the speaker for a few months, I experimented with various equalizer settings. i also tried different installation techniques & finally found the sound quality (at least 75% satisfaction!) i was looking for. The speaker plays best with online music sites or winamp if u are playing offline content. Also it helps if u place the subwoofer on a wooden base. The front firing speaker/vent of the subwoofer gains from bouncing sound waves off a plane placed in close range in front of it.

I am a fan of creative since 2005. Lower priced other creative 2.1 models didn't come with bass controller, which is important for me as I am planned to connect with TV.Sound effect is good for this price. Its perfect for computer, where we mostly sit close to speakers, which helps you in feel the BOOM effect. But when you are watching DTH/Cable [non-HD], you should tune to your bass to 50% through TV remote or using speaker's bass controller, else you cant hear the speech clearly. For movies HD/Blu-ray movies & games, bass is so good.Even though woofer is not heavy, which is a plus, woofer starts moving slightly over polish/mica surface upon explosion or heavy bass effects. If you are keeping your woofer on such surfaces, keep your eye on woofers position.Wires are of sufficient length for connecting with TV. If you are planning to mount on the corners of the wall, then it may not be the right product, as wire from one satellite can be extensible but other satellite's wire looks complicated as of cannot cut and extend it easily.NOTE : Don't tune your speakers bass and satellite's volume to 100%. You will hear slight noise and some sort of degraded quality. This is natural even in high end speakers. Always keep your tuning under 80-85% for good effect.

Build and looks are good. Coming to sound you will get booomy bass from down firing woofers. Satellite speakers are very bad with very thin sound like laptop or mobile speakers. So sound as a whole is boomy uncontrolled bass(no definitions) with high energised highs and very thin sounding mids. Which can be enjoyable experience for most people.Plus point is we can adjust the bass from no bass to full bass. But its tricky to get that balanced sound for all type of music. Also do experiment of placement of the woofer which really makes difference.These speakers only come with volume and bass control. No other features like usb, memory card, Bluetooth, remote or fm. Go for philips, f&d or lg for feature rich speakersSound lacks quality, but its great value for money for 2000 for its enjoyable sound.People who are fans of quality sound and mids please stay away and be ready to shell out more money for quality speakers.

i was looking speakers to use with my LED TV and laptop and sometimes to connect with mobile or any other device to enjoy the music.i was not looking for much powerful speakers but to fill my good size living room with good quality bass and clear sound. i used to listen the music loudly sometimes to enjoy the music so must needed to have good bass and bass control button to adjust the bass. in most of the speakers in this price range bass control button does not exists which is a big issue. i had ordered this product after returning Intex IT-230SUF 2.1 speakers which does not fit to my requirement.i am using these speakers for last one week with loud and low volume and bass and found exceptionally well.Amazon is offering around Rs. 400 less price than other's so its a must buy deal.in this price range do not buy anything than this.

Creative is a comapny with good experiance in audio technology with wide range of audio products. It is definitely better than cheap Indian brands.
