Harrison falls instantly in love when he first sees Magnolia. It’s a bit complicated her being his older brothers new step daughter and the age factor of 18 to his 30 and she’s still in high school! Whew got all that out of the way and now we find Magnolia also fell when Harrison arrived at her house. He’s here to watch her while the happy couple honeymoon. She’s definitely not complaining. It’s instant, it’s freakin HOT and just a fast dirty read. Enjoyable and totally over the top but I don’t care it was a fun read.

This is a great story about a girl who has been taking care of her mom for most of her life. A man who has lived as a free spirit for as long as he can remember. From the moment these two meet Harrison and Maggie know they are meant to be together. However getting Harrison's uptight brother on board might be a little more difficult. Stanley has not only been Harrison's older brother but a father figure to him as well since they lost theirs so early on. Can these two find the HEA they have been wanting or will their family make sure that doesn't happen? This is a great book about instant love and knowing who you want. There are ups and downs that will have you hooked from the beginning to the end. I would highly recommend it though

A total feel good read! The insta mutual attraction was awesome. You couldn’t help but love Maggie’s Mom and stepdad (do they have a story?), they were great. Harrison was perfect, he knew immediately what he wanted and went about it in the best way possible. Good plot, great characters, thoroughly enjoyable read.💖💖💖💖💖

This is a quick read with a massive case of insta-lust/love and a dose of taboo. Due to the length of the book, there is very little in the way of character development and the plot is fairly thin. This was a free gift - for subscribers to a newsletter - and when I factor that in, I think this served its purpose; to be a fun little extra read. I would have been disappointed if I had paid for this, but since I didn’t, it was a good and naughty read.

The ladies behind Fiona Davenport are probably my favorite people in the world and they have no idea and the last 2 books they have released are on the top of my list for favorite Fiona books. Harrison is a traveling photographer, the complete opposite of his brother. Instead of being grounded to the earth, he is flittering around the world. But he has to come back down to earth for his brothers wedding. Not only to support but also to "babysit" his new 18 year old step niece, Magnolia (Maggie) while the newlyweds honeymoon. You see where this is going, right? This is when everything Fiona comes to fruition. Insta-everything and boy is it hot! The Fiona ladies have a penchant for writing the steamiest and most taboo interactions that have you feeling like a voyeur. If you're looking for a little something to keep you warm on these winter nights, My Step-Dads Brother is the perfect companion.

Harrison meets Maggie the night before her 18th birthday but they not feel the attraction despite is brother marrying her mother in two days. While they are away on their honeymoon, Harrison and Maggie become close and start planning their future together and how to tell Maggie’s mom and Harrison’s brother on their return in this engaging read.

I really enjoyed reading this story. It was written well and the storyline flowed. While some may object to the age difference and a non blood relation, it wasn’t dirty. It was in the blink of a eye, when the one you never knew you wanted but missed in the deepest recesses of your heart, is standing in front of you, and your lives will never be the same again. Loved the ending.

I don't know how they do it, but the ladies that make up Fiona Davenport have given us another fantastic story! Quick & steamy, but with the feel of a full-length story. Harrison & Maggie are adorable and Harrison is a hot dollop of alpha-y goodness! I really enjoyed the flow & banter in this story & it's up there on my favorites list! : )

The first story was ok but the second one was my kind of story...hot, intense, and a very good story line

Harrison a hot 30 year old photo journalist is visiting his brother before his wedding and meets his about to be "step-niece" who is about to turn 18 and is completely over the moon for Maggie! The moment he saw Maggie, he saw their future together. Even though Maggie is only 18 years old, she knows what she wants and it isn't what her mother and step-dad want for her; she wants to travel and live life. She's intelligent and independent since she kinda had to grow up pretty fast since her mum was flighty & she was the responsible one. She learned early on how to be a caretaker. She even organised her mother's wedding reception and wedding, so you can clearly see she's not only a good daughter but a strong young woman. The moment she sees Harrison, she knows he will change everything in her life for the good. When she started with Harrison, she was afraid that her mum and step-dad would separate them but that didn't stop Harrison from taking her as his. I loved the epilogue. This is perfect for anyone wanting a quick, fun, steamy, "dispense reality please" READ! 4.5 stars from me!
