The Scofield Study Bible III, NKJV, Large Print Edition

Great Bible. There is a lot of commentary provided. Easy to read.

Love this study bible. And use it everyday. I recommend it.

Wow. This is an excellent low cost premium Bible that will last a long time. I especially like the text centered on the page so letters don’t fall down into the gutter and the notes are not too numerous which I like. It’s not the purpose of this study bible to have verse by verse comments which can get in the way of reading the actual Bible.

This bible is big but not unmanageable for a man. The 10.5 font size is perfect for me. It has a lot of facts and figures, dates, and definitions throughout without much commentary. I prefer not to have commentary bias - instead I like the cross references and the footnotes for clarity of a word or concept. Footnotes also contain alternative text renderings. Pages are thick enough for marking without bleed through and the margins have enough space for writing with a mechanical pencil. Each book has a brief introduction with author, date, major theme(s) and outline. Chapters have headings. Very nicely organized. A subject index, chain-reference index, proper names index, color map index and concordance. Monies, weights and measures reference, and black-and-white maps and explanatory inserts throughout. Also included: presentation page, births, marriages, deaths, Scofield Study Bible centennial introduction, and New King James Version intro. I absolutely love this Bible.

The scofield bible in my humble opinion is the best out there. It's large letters were perfect. It's a little heavier, but we'll worth the larger size.

I was very skeptical about purchasing this Bible simply because there were no pictures of it to be seen. I like seeing what I’m buying and reading the reviews before purchasing an item. I decided to go ahead and purchase from the reviews alone. I’m so glad I did!! I love it. It did not come in as described as brown with a black spine but I’m not real concerned about the outside... it’s what is inside that counts!! It’s burgundy with a few tiny blemishes on the front but I’m planning on putting it in a Bible cover so as to help preserve the leather. It’s a beautiful Bible and will be my go to Bible from here on out as I also own several more Bible of different translations. I’ve settled on the NKJV because I was raised on the KJV but wanted something a bit less complicated. The NKJV fits the bill... and no verses have been left out (as have been in most other translations...see Matthew 18:11 NIV. I own several NIV but recently found out about the verses that have been left out so... not for me...) This Bible has a wonderful feel. It lays great on a surface as well as in the hand. I am attaching pictures so that others will be able to get a better idea of what purchase they are considering. I think it’s marvelous!! Hope you do as well!! BTW... it is very heavy!! I’ll be gaining my upper body strength carrying this thing around!! I’ll have to do equal time for both hands in order not to appear more muscular on only one side!! 😂

Great. I m injoying it and the notes give me more understanding of the WORD OF GOD. This Bible so clear, size of 10.5 and the pages are very good. Enough place to write our own notes. I also like the Summary topics. Sweet. Glory to Holy Spirit of Yeshua who led me to this Bible.📖❤

The Bible is excellent and worthy of 5 stars, however because Amazon did not ship it in a box but rather their plastic shipping bag, the leather cover was slightly damaged. I will keep the bible since it's just for me, but be aware in case you want to order this as a gift. It should be sent boxed! I will upload a photo of the bible cover and the bible itself.

A quality product: excellent binding, very good font size and style. One of the better translations and a superb set of notes from some spiritual giants of the past. Very much recommended.

What a delight to read the Word of God in such a beautiful setting. And I've come to love the New King James Version (NKJV) having struggled with the, at times, quite awful NIV. Now use it each day for my morning Bible Study. The print is very clear. The pages open fully flat making it easy for reading and study. For the price, this is simply the best buy you could make.

The Scofield study bible nkjv 111 its awesome, lots of references. However, the only thing I didn't like is the most of the subjects title are different from the other nkjv bibles. I'm just wondering, why did they do that?? I didn't like that at all.
