YES,it is normal.The impact wrench is built with New Power Transmission System--The motor reaches the set speed, the lever will instantly hit the output shaft to generate impact force. Torque is generated when a certain speed is generated, but the process is very short and takes only 2-3 seconds. The overall operation process can be simply described as: rotation - sniper (to generate torque，you will hear the impact sounds) - rotation - sniper (to generate torque)
