5 hours to build, 25+ hours to peel. A DIY nightmare.
If you only read the first line: Donโt buy this. Iโm a confident DIYer with 50 years of experience (starting with House of Holland and MFI furniture for those with long memories). Iโve assembled hundreds of items, but this shed was by far the worst assembly experience of my life. Itโs a cheap shed, which I expected. What I didn't expect was the "protective" plastic film bonded to virtually every one of the 40+ parts. The Plastic Problem: This isn't just a loose wrap. It is thin, cheap film heat-bonded to the metal. Each large sheet took over 40 minutes to clear. I stopped counting at 25 HOURS of peeling. My hands and fingers literally seized up; I eventually had to pay my children to finish it just so I could start the build. Why you can't ignore it: Some reviewers don't mention itโlikely because it's so well-bonded they don't realise it's there. But if you leave it, the sun and rain will turn it into a peeling, shredded mess. The Build: The assembly itself is actually straightforward (4-5 hours). Holes line up if you stay square, though the plastic washers are flimsy and I doubt theyโll stay watertight in a storm. The Base: Be aware you need two basesโone to sit the shed on, and a floor inside to cover the raised framework, which is a major trip hazard. I had to notch OSB board around the door frame to make it work. Summary: If you value your time and the use of your hands, look elsewhere. The "savings" on this shed are paid for in 25 hours of agonising manual labour. My hands are still cramping up two days later. You think you're buying a weekend project, but you're actually buying a part-time job in a plastic-peeling factory.

Looks good and does what it should
This is my second of these so knew what to expect. It is exactly as described, they are not solid robust buildings but don't claim to be. They are perfect for what is needed in a garden for storage and look good. I feel they are priced very well for what it provides and looks good. The instructions are much clearer than one I had a few years back, takes about 4-5 hours for one person to build and common sense prevails if familiar with flat pack builds and needing to pay attention to detail before fixing.

Value for money shed
This is a great little shed, very good value for the money and very sturdy when assembled, my only negative is the instructions could be better, some of the images are difficult to work out, the shed took me the best part of a day to assemble on my own, definitely better if there is two people, the door slider bars need drilling to fix them in position, they don't have predrilled holes so bear that in mind, the door bars attach to the rear of the door as in the photo, the instructions dont real make this clear, and lastly to save time later, remove part of the plastic coating from the panels where the screw holes are, this will make it easier to remove the rest once the shed is built. Now I know how these assemble i would definitely think about another larger purchase.

Like a giant meccano set -Actually 4โ x 7โ4โ [external size]
You will need plenty of patience as this is very flimsy in construction [hence needing 2 people to avoid damage] and quite difficult to erect if on your own. Read the instructions carefully before starting, check that all the parts are there and don't build it on a windy day! It is best erected on a level surface such as a lawn where you have access on all sides. Itโs very lightweight so can be manhandled a foot or so [slowly] into position by two people if you need extra room as it is assembled from the outside. Instruction booklet says 2-3 hours [advert does say a day], took 1 hour to sort the supplied base, 8 hours to build sides, 4 hours [day 2] to put on roof and doors. Then you need to fit an internal floor [not supplied] which is about 42โ x 7โ. Height at rear is 5โ2โ and 5โ10โ at front. Overall a lot smaller than advertised [lose a *]. You will need a cross head screwdriver, an electric drill and a spanner to tighten the nuts and bolts. It comes in two boxes but this means the overall design needs more refinement as some sections are very small and the base is made of small sections which makes it fiddly. I had no difficulty with the holes lining up on the walls, but the roof was another matter. If a part looks as though it will not fit, don't force it, stop, go and have a tea and come back to it. The instructions are poorly translated into English and the diagrams are not always clear. [lose another *]. But the door runners are terrible as they are hooked into a C channel rather than resting in a gutter [as on most greenhouses] and the doors are not very sturdy, [lose another *] but works better as a storage unit rather than a shed. In general, metal sheds are more fiddly to make, there are sharp edges but careful handling should avoid cuts, the main danger was in separating the panels from one another as they had become wedged together in the cartons. At the end of the build you might walk away with some plasters on your fingers but definitely expect some scratches! Having said that, it was one of the cheapest units around [gain a *] and two not very technical people did manage to erect it -eventually, does what it was purchased for and is quite sturdy once completed, but direct knocks will easily damage the sides. UPDATE 4/5/15 Just ordered some rubber sheeting as the roof leaks like a sieve from the screw holes! [something I half expected, even with the plastic washers supplied].

Really pleased with purchase. Very sturdy. Allow a good few hours to erect! But worth it in the end.

DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!!!!!
Online this shed looks like a bargain but who ever designed this hasnโt thought of the end user. When you receive this the steel sheet panels are in two pieces which is absolute rubbish, you will spend most of your day removing the bloody protective film, the instructions are a disaster (the drawings are tiny and impossible to follow) I could go on (and on). This shed was hands down the worst flat pack thing I have ever had the displeasure of putting together. My only advice do NOT buy this under any circumstances, I guarantee you will regret this purchase. If I could give this 0 stars I would.
