How do I cover a cake with Shimmer fondant?

This product did not hold up. It was very dry and hard to work with. I ended up not using it and painting white fondant with gold.

Unfortunately, this is not a fondant that you can pour over a cake. This not a liquid product.

How to avoid sticking on my hands and worksurface?

If the fondant is sticking, a very small amount of shortening/vegetable oil can be used on hands and work surfaces. Corn starch should only be used sparingly, using too much will dry the fondant out and lead to significant cracking.
