No. You will need to use an oil based color to color chocolate. This will cause your chocolate to seize. The Chefmaster candy color is what you need.

If you use it in store bough frosting you don’t taste it. If you use it in homemade frosting then you want to be careful on how much you use because you do start to taste it but I wanna say you have to put a lot for you to start to taste it.
