If it was more sturdy it would be absolutely perfect. I love the measurements and set up. And I love the price. I’m guessing if it were more sturdy then it would be higher priced. I sell the items I need to cut, so my cut lines must be perfectly straight and sharp. This machine isn’t efficient when I’m trying to save time. I have reverted back to my paper slicer that is flat and uses a razor blade. This is really good for cardstock or just a few papers at a time when you are doing personal use.

I bought this paper cutter to do all of my wedding signs and I should have opened the box sooner because I’m missing the handle and the non-slip pegs at the bottom! It’s out of my window to return. It’s a great cutter for the money & I can still use it fortunately, I just have to put my hand directly on the actual cutter. Wish I could have returned it for a new complete one! Check the box right away, if you have all the parts you won’t be disappointed!

I'm glad I did some research before buying the first paper cutter I found on Amazon. This paper cutter is easy to use with its long black handle. I'm thankful there were minimal pieces to put on (the handle and rubber stoppers on the bottom). The picture the company provides for a visual is pretty straight forward. The blade is able to go through laminated cardstock, perfect for cutting games for my second graders. I would recommend this paper cutter to any teacher!

If you're looking to cut 12" long paper, keep looking. The little black piece on the right side that holds the blade in place when not in use also prevents the blade from cutting the paper all the way to the end if it is 12" long. Tried to return. Was offered 20% off to keep it. I declined and then never got a response, info to send back or return. It does cut well for paper shorter than 12".

This cutter is a nice, medium-weight metal, that seems to be great for home/office use. This isn’t a commercial-grade cutter. It’s not even as heavy-duty as the ones I remember using at school (30 years ago). I have used it with card stock, plain printer paper, junk mail....various thicknesses. All cut easily and cleanly. The pre-marked guide lines and strong magnetic position guide are nice bonuses. Good rubber feet too. So far, so good. I will be using this for home office and paper crafting. I am happy with this item.

I'm printing a lot of pictures and cutting it is my problem.. so I decided to just get a paper cutter.. The price is very reasonable compared to others but I think it works as good as the other ones.. it's sharp enough and cut at one chop!

I use it a lot but not just one particular thing I have found that there many things that I need to cut paper and light cardboard for. I always wanted one and I am glad I have this one.

I mainly use this to make art prints and cards. I really liked this cutter until it stopped cutting straight. I figured out that the screws under the part you push the paper against were loose but you can only tighten them so many times until it won’t tighten anymore. Wish it would’ve lasted longer than a month..
