Because there is not a 5 pt harness, is it easy for the child to lean over the sides?

We just used ours for a 14 month old, 22 lb and had no issues at all with her leaning over. I highly recommend, it was perfect for our 4th of July outing.

Would this work for a 2.5-3 year old? He has food allergies want him safe at restaurants.

I have a very large 15 month old (28 lbs) and we love this chair so much that we ended up getting rid of her high chair. When it gets dirty, I just bring it out to the deck and wash it with the hose.

After reading reviews on the smudging of the word 'Summer,' I am wondering if it can be removed by using some kind of paint remover?

Who cares. These are functional, and perfect for feeding from a standard chair, washable and store easily. I never even noticed the word summer on them.
