Ice Auger Cordless Drill Adapter for Ice Fishing - Fits 3/8 and 1/2 Drills

Tool works for its intended purpose and we were able to drill through 19-20 inches in a fair amount of time. Would have been faster if I had sharp blades. Fair bit of walking on the ice but again probably a blade issue. When looking at adapters I debated on a few but went with this one due to its visual quality of build. When I received it I was impressed with the machine work of the snap ring cutouts and the beveling on edges. assembled no wobble in the shank/augur connection. Thank god I went with one that had a well attached plate. First hole I broke through the augur didn't cut a clear hole and jerked from my hand. If I hadn't had a plate I would have watched my augur and drill sink in 20 FOW.

Liked this adapter; works great. However, it makes a noise as the flange turns on the shaft, and the retention rings has come off.

I bought this adapter to connect to my new 6" Lazer hand auger. It fits perfectly ! Like others have mentioned, the quality of this adapter is fantastic. Worth every penny! It does come comes dis-assembled. All you have to do is snap into place two brass? clip type washers. One washer goes above the circular plate and the other goes below the circular plate. Both washers easily snap into the two grooves machined into shaft of the adapter. I can see this adapter working for a variety of hand augers as most of them have a similar design... I highly recommend this product. .

I just bought an Eskimo 6 inch hand auger and hooked it up to the Auger Drill Adapter and it worked great! I already had an 18v Ryobi drill with a 4AH and a 9 AH Battery. This combination was way less then a gas or propane auger. I went through a foot of ice in like 10 seconds. I did 6 holes with the 9AH battery. I bet I could have done at least 6 more. Great product! High quality.

This works great with my Eskimo Ice Auger. High quality, and excellent seller to work with too. We read some of the reviews for the other adapters we saw and this one was a bit more money, but well worth it.

Not much for the price. It will work OK.

This has made my life so much easier. I have a young son who likes to hole hop alot. With the old hand auger it was such work during late ice. Down fall is , the aluminum disk is loud during drilling, but still much needed for keeping the auger from the bottom of the lake. Overall this has changed my approach to icefishing by being much more versatile.

im rewritting my review. this tool works great. my friends with their gas power augers now want one. so broken down- i have a 18v lithium milwaukee drill. off one batterie i can blast through 80 to 100 inches of ice with a 6in auger. if you ice fish you need this, just make sure you have a drill that can handle it and a spare batterie.
