Oboz Women's Sapphire Low B-Dry Waterproof Hiking Shoe

This is the fourth pair of hiking shoes I’ve ordered and the first pair that I am keeping! The minute I put them on I knew I had found the perfect shoe. They provide excellent support and the toe box is wide enough to allow my toes to move without squeezing them or having to break in the shoe. They are lightweight and so comfortable! The first time I wore them I was able to complete a 7 mile hike and they did not rub or squeeze my foot. So very happy that I found the perfect hiking shoe! These are definitely worth the price.

This is my 3rd or 4th pair of Oboze hikers. Oboze, absolutely make the perfect shoe. I have lots of foot problems. I have medically prescribed molded shoe inserts. These shoes are the only shoes I have walked out of the store, gone straight to the trails hiked and not gotten extremely sore feet, or blisters. (without my added inserts) they are great I constantly rotate the shoes according to hike weather and seasons. I can't being myself to get rid of anyone of them. Even worn they are still sturdy and comfortable. My longest hike was 55 miles in absolute comfort. They are so comfortable its like they are made exactly for me. I have snow boots, 2 different hiking boots, and 2 trail shoes. I hike mountains about 12 to 18 miles a week in all kinds of weather. I have to admit as I wear them out I do add my inserts but it's nice not to have to buy shoes with the added stress of making the inserts a priority for the first several months. Needless to say I am a fan for life.

I really want to love these shoes, and I hope that someday I will. I love that these are a substantial shoe, yet they don't feel big or bulky. The size I ordered fits perfectly, and the arch support is just what I need. They keep my feet dry during the rainy winter. Unfortunately, they are not cushy at all. I bought these shoes, not for hiking, but for walking in the rain. Perhaps they would do better on a trail surface, but walking on concrete is not comfortable at all, and I find that I can't do more than a couple miles. Additionally, the shoe is very stiff, and I have to have the tongue adjusted just right to avoid some uncomfortable rubbing on my ankle bone. I did wear these around the house before committing to them. They are fine inside, but once I start moving with real purpose, I start to have issues. I'm going to try a different insole, and I hope that with further use, the shoes might soften up enough to be comfortable. I've probably logged 10-15 miles in these shoes. Update: I've had these shoes a couple years now. I still don't think I could do a substantial hike in these. However, they no longer rub my ankle bone like they did when I first got them.

These appear to be good shoes - good construction & materials. They're made in Vietnam and for Vietnamese people they probably ARE wide - but not for me - I'm an average-sized caucasion woman tip to toe. Also, they're advertised as good foot cushioning - the heel is good for most people but the front of the foot - nope.

I’ve been looking for a new pair of hiking shoes for a long time since the company that made my previous pair no longer exists. I finally decided to try these and they are absolutely fantastic - very similar to my other pair. I see a few comments that they are not soft inside and no, they are not, but that’s because they’re super supportive which is what I need. They do run small but I had no issue ordering on the higher end of what I normally wear. (I also size up 1/2 size in running shoes.) Love these and highly recommend.

I bought these shoes last year at a local store because they were on sale and I needed new shoes for work as my feet got bigger after having my son. I wore them every day on concrete floors and I didn't have any problems whatsoever. The only thing is that because they're waterproof, you get smelly feet at the end of the day. So when those finally were just done, I decided to try to get something a little more breathable. I spent so much money on shoes and they all just killed my feet. I have an issue with my toe bones that if I have any pressure on my toes, then they just hurt- so I can't have any sort of heel. I finally gave in and bought these again and there was no "break in" time needed at all. I'm back to no pain again and I just can't even describe how much I love these shoes. I have nearly flat feet, so the arch support in these is just enough that it's not digging in. I know that not every shoe is for everyone, but these are just the best for me. I hope they keep them around for a long time.

These wonderful Oboz shoes are replacing my first pair which I wore to death. They are substantial, molded to your feet, and yet seem light. They have great traction and do well in all weather except deep snow. Terrific for long walks, hiking and biking. I was excited to see they were still available so I had to grab another pair before they disappeared. A wonderfully comfortable and great looking shoe!

There is nothing that I don’t like about these shoes. They look really good, they fit my feet perfectly, they feel very stable and keep my feet in line and so far, waterproof. And I got them at an awesome price 👍

Really like these shoes. Right from the get-go, it offered comfort and support with every step. Needed a new pair of walking shoes for my trip to Norway and the British Isles. Looks smart. Worth the money.

These took a few days to break in. I was worried as there was some pressure around the widest part of my foot, but after a few hours of walking, they relaxed and fit like a dream. They stay in place on my heel. Waterproof, sturdy, great sole grip.
