Perfect Hands Free Walk
This exceeded my expectations! I have a 60lb poodle who is all over when we walk. He pulls and I spend more time keeping him in check and not enjoying a walk. This hands free leash allows him some freedom and takes the stress off my arms! It gives me my full body weight and stability to keep him in check and I can enjoy my walk looking around and not pulling him back. The device is very sturdy and the pouch is divided inside with two compartments. I had my phone on one side and treats on the other. I clipped our bag carrier to a clip on the belt and we had plenty of space. It was easy to adjust to fit me and he had plenty of room without being to far from me! I have no complaints and was very happy with the purchase! I would recommend that you make sure you get the correct device for the weight of your dog. You dont want to get something too small for a large/ strong dog.

Great for jogging!
This belt bag and leash have worked out very well for me. My dog pulls significantly on a regular leash and I had been using a retractable leash, but it was too bulky when I moved from walking to jogging. Now that I'm jogging, my pace matches what my dog wants to do and this leash settles her right beside me. When we come up upon cars or people I can grab leash easily to hold her tight. And I really like the bungee feel of the leash. The bag is small but it is large enough for me to get a roll of poop bags and my handheld device. There's a poop bag dispenser. It doesn't pull the bags perfectly but I can unzip it and help the bag through the dispenser hole and that's just fine. My jogging with my dog now is so much more pleasant than any other leash I've tried. Also, the belt fits really nice and snug and doesn't loosen up on me during the jog. The belt is very comfortable and this whole solution is good quality that I believe will last me a while.

Great for dogs who pull or move around! Minor issues but overall I love it.
I have a year old Aussie mix who has destructive energy. I am out of shape. So I decided we needed to start running together for multiple reasons. I got this leash and love it! Pros: * bungee lead - best part in my opinion. It allows a buffer for when my dog tries to pull away from me. Rather than a hard tug that knocks me unbalanced, it's a slight pull and then I can get him back to me with a swift command. This just makes running with a distractible and high energy dog much easier. * Hands free - thank goodness for this. Running with a leash in hand is a nightmare for me. My dog thinks it's a toy and it becomes impossible to run. Apparently when it's just attached to my waist, he actually runs along side me without biting the lead. * Pocket - perfect fit for me phone (iPhone X) and it has a spot to put headphone wires through. * Handles - I run on side roads which means other people with dogs or lots of cars. It's nice to be able to grab the handles when I need him to be at my side. * Adjustable waist band * Free moving ring that the lead attaches to * Lightweight * Cons: * pocket movement - The little pocket has the ability to move, which is nice. However when I'm running it tends to move all around. I always want it on my back but it moves to the side and will hit my arm it feels lopsided. So I've just sewn it in place. Probably only worth half a star rating. But it did indeed bother me. * A little long - the lead could be shorter. It doesn't affect me too much when I'm running near my house but if I were to be running in more crowded or tight places, my dog is a little farther from me than I would want.

Use with the leash, or worth it just for the belt part
I originally thought I might use this while hiking / backpacking, but it is a bit on the heavy side. Works fine around home when I’m not carrying a heavy rucksack as well. I like the bungee gentle stops that don’t jar me or the dog. I also have detached the leash and just use the belt with its convenient D-rings and pouch. I thread it through the loops on my hiking pants and use it as a regular belt with bonus built in accessories. Not at all how I pictured using it when I purchased the leash, but a nice surprise extra use! As some others have mentioned, It does loosen up around the waist as you move. So could be not the best for serious runners who don’t want to take the time to fidget and readjust it. (Also, might seem too heavy for the serious runner.) But not a problem for the casual dog walk.

Quite a difference from a regular lead
After working with a regular lead, training our new rescue dog (2 years old) for a month, I got this hands-free lead/belt combination, and it works great. The little pouch that comes with it could be a bit larger, and I would prefer it to be a little less movable on the belt (it shifts around a good bit when you are running, as it is, but I can live with that). The pouch does accept an iPhone Xs easily, with room to spare for doggie bags, etc. The leash is strong and the shock cord tension is just right. I would prefer it to be about a foot shorter, but it certainly worked just fine while we were running! It was almost weird not having to hold a leash and run! Very freeing, and the dog did very well. She actually realized that we were using a different system and responded more cooperatively (less pulling or wandering off-line). I would not recommend starting out with this if you are training your dog to heel and stay on line. I spend a month working with her to learn heel, slow, stop, straight, left, right, car, etc., before trying the hands-free leash, and it was worth it, because you don’t want to trip and fall over the leash or the dog while running! I teamed this leash system with the Rabbitgoo harness, and would recommend using a harness rather than attaching this system to a simple collar. Tip: Make sure you wear the belt tight and low on your hips. I also use the sliding D-ring that offers more comfortable adjustment for the dog, if she runs a little ahead or behind. If you attach it to the fixed D-ring, you could get twisted around, if the dog lags a little bit behind you while you are running.

Comfortable Practical Sturdy Freedom
I’m very happy with my purchase. I appreciate the overall quality of my new Lanney Handsfree leash. The high-denier nylon is thickly woven and sewn well. The waist strap is easily adjustable in length (wear at waist or hips, big or small person) and the quick-release buckle is solid/easy to release. There are two gray stripes of reflective material integrated the full length of the belt and lead for enhanced safety at night. The trim horizontal-mount zippered waist pack has room for my phone, keys, simple ID, and poop bags. It has two loops on the back to thread the bag onto the belt so it can easily be shifted to the position I prefer while running, and slid forward to access as needed (or removed.) The hardware is solid (clips/rings). I like that the clip bases feature 360° spinners to avoid twisting the lead while in use. I love the length of the lead and the two comfy sewn-in hand grips (each end, for control as needed). The integrated bungee in the lead is just right to greatly minimize shock all around (I’m training a rescue dog: sudden shifting/starts/stops). Crucially saving my petite wrists, Emmi’s neck, and avoiding back strain for both of us: win-win comfort and safety! I find this set meets all my needs for function and simplicity. Great design and price point. Kudos to Team Lanney 😊💜

Great waist leash to be hands free
I love this leash. I wish the waist strap was a little thicker as it does cut into you a bit if your dog pulls. Also the bag could be a bit bigger. The leash itself is good but I would like a little more stretch to it. It’s easy to put on and take off. The clip for the waist belt is plastic though. The rings to connect the leash and the leash clips are metal. It’s also a good length to keep your dog close but not close to where you’ll trip over them. The lead has a handle at the top near you and close to the dog in case you have to grab it. Very nice addition to the leash. So far seems pretty sturdy. My dog pulls a little bit and I feel comfy with it, knowing it will be okay. The belt itself is adjustable. The leash is one size.

BEST hands-free leash! Great for traveling and dogs who pull
I absolutely love this hands free leash that even comes with a POUCH! It’s perfect for traveling with your dog. I take it with me when I take my dog on walks and even when we travel using the train or the plane. The pouch is very accessible and makes it easy to have treats on hand when needed. I also used to store my wallet and my dog’s treat when we traveled with made it easier to access my ID at airport security and have treats handy to make sure my dog has motivation to be on her best behavior. And don’t get me started on the two handles, one that’s closer to me and one closer to my dog. The one that’s closer to me is great when my dog pulls and takes the pressure away from my back. I also love how there is a handle closer to my dog so I can better “control” her pulling when in tight situations (such as the airport). Finally, I’m very happy with the versatility of this leash, allowing me to adjust it so I can wear it as a cross body or a belt. Great purchase for any dog parent especially the ones whose dogs like to dictate which direction we walk in and is a master at pulling.

Just what I was looking for!
I'd often wondered about buying a lead that attaches to your waist but always a little apprehensive and scared of being pulled over. This is perfect my anxious dog who is scared of everything outside and it certainly saves my arm from being pulled out of the socket. I find it more comfortable to wear it on my hips and the little bag that comes with it is a great addition. I love the purple and the two handles on the actual lead are really helpful for when you want to grab it or just have your dog a little closer. I haven't tried running with this yet but my dog is nearly 20kg and it's sturdy enough to hold her even when she's pulling like a train!

Solid
I’ve used this a few times now and it works well. I don’t jog with it but I wanted something that would allow me to be hands-free. It appears to be very well made, strong and has a moving metal ring that allows the dog to move side to side without twisting the waistband. The carrying case perfectly fits my pro max phone and is removable. The pink was a bit more neon than I expected but not an issue. It would be perfect if they could incorporate a holder for doggie bags. All in all very happy with it.
